Wild Goose, Ska Fab & Ozark Beer Company come together for a few thousand beers.
Our Pale Ale and her can have been busy getting Ozark Beer into people's hands. Now, our Belgian Golden is making its way around as well. Our little two-head canning machine just can't keep up with the thirst of the Ozarks, so we made some purchases.
First, was a de-palletizer from skabrewing's Ska Fab. This beauty was uncrated and raised via a hoist. Electricians have been busy connecting it to the Brewhouse's mainframe. Tomorrow, an engineer from Ska will join an engineer from Wild Goose Canning in our brewery.
Wild Goose makes the filling and sealing part of the canning line. After leaving the pallet, the cans will be spun through a 'twist rinser,' which will sanitize each can before it enters the WGC-100, craft beer's hottest new canning line.
Once on the WGC-100's conveyor belt, the cans will be filled with C02, beer, topped with a lid, and have that lid sealed before being sent to a table for six-packing.
We've torn down some rooms to make space for more growth and tanks to feed this beast.
Stay tuned for more photographs and video from the installation and first run. These two brand-new machines and the installation of them in Arkansas is a first for the state and a great achievement for Craft Beer and lovers of it.
