HOTEL OBSCURA FOLA 2016 Arts House
This six minute video takes you through the start of our live art performance as our audiences experienced it. The trailer was shot and edited by filmmaker Harry Aronsten. It’s a homage to the mood and atmosphere of the work, which is incredibly hard to capture on film. We think it works.
HOTEL OBSCURA 2016 Arts House
Hotel Obscura was presented by Triage and Arts House for FOLA 2016. Funded by Creative Europe (2014-2016) the project was initiated by Triage with partners Die Fabrikanten, Mezzanine Spectacles and Ohi Pezoume. Triage curated a program of events and a series of ambitious immersive live art works in eight cities. Hotel Obscura engaged with four countries, eleven organisations and over 200 artists. Triage’s Kokkinos-Kennedy led the project artistically and curatorially. In Australia alone, Triage presented the Live Art Camp for 35 Australian artists (2014), the Hotel Obscura Lab for 12 commissioned artists (2015), and the premiere of Hotel Obscura for the Festival of Live Art 2016.
