Bodies of Water examines our lifelong relationship to the sea at a time of ecological crisis. And in 2022 we’ll be part of Platform’s wonderful cohort of artists. 💜

Sydney Opera House 2021

After the Flood has been generously supported by the Australia Council & ArtPlay, Melbourne. In February 2021 we successfully completed a first development of the work for children and families. Later this year we will travel to Sydney to develop it futher with our presenter, the Sydney Opera House.

Banquet for Bees Denmark 2020

After months of Covid-19 delays and travel bans, Secret Hotel & Triage’s creative collaboration, Banquet for Bees, finally premiered in Denmark. The work focuses on the special role that bees play as pollinators, humanity’s fascination with the magical substance of honey and hive life. Banquet for Bees as critic Kirsten Dahl noted  “is a participatory work in which  information is perfectly combined with all things bodily and sensual”.

BANQUET FOR BEES Denmark 2020

After many delays and cancellations our lovely new work Banquet for Bees has opened in Denmark. Co-created with Christine Fentz of Secret Hotel the work examines the role of our furry friends the bees as pollinators. It’s also about how to experience the sensuality and wisdom of nature.

Triage and one step at a time like this created an immersive, site-specific work in the Arctic Circle for dansearena nord and Hammerfest Festival 2019. The work employed walking, audio, video, and a live cinema experience.

CULT 2017 Raumschiff Gallery 

Triage developed and presented the first draft of CULT at Raumschiff Gallery in Linz. The work was commissioned by Die Fabrikanten for their live art festival. CULT is a durational performance that examines intimacy, the role of the audience, film acting and intimate encounters.

HOTEL OBSCURA FOLA 2016  Arts House 

This six minute video takes you through the start of our live art performance as our audiences experienced it. The trailer was shot and edited by filmmaker Harry Aronsten. It’s a homage to the mood and atmosphere of the work, which is incredibly hard to capture on film. We think it works.

HOTEL OBSCURA 2016  Arts House 

This one minute trailer gives an impression of the rich and complex nature of a site-specific, durational live art work. Audiences were led from Hotel Lindrum by a mysterious woman via city laneways and an immersive audio. Once at the Sofitel Hotel they were greeted by staff, dressed in a guest robe, and given an individualised menu of three hotel experiences. The work ended with conversations and refreshments in a penthouse apartment.

HOTEL OBSCURA 2016 Arts House 

Hotel Obscura was presented by Triage and Arts House for FOLA 2016. Funded by Creative Europe (2014-2016) the project was initiated by Triage with partners Die Fabrikanten, Mezzanine Spectacles and Ohi Pezoume. Triage curated a program of events and a series of ambitious immersive live art works in eight cities. Hotel Obscura engaged with four countries, eleven organisations and over 200 artists. Triage’s Kokkinos-Kennedy led the project artistically and curatorially. In Australia alone, Triage presented the Live Art Camp for 35 Australian artists (2014), the Hotel Obscura Lab for 12 commissioned artists (2015), and the premiere of Hotel Obscura for the Festival of Live Art 2016.
