Hi! Which character do you think is the most misunderstood by the fandom?

You would think I'd say Dirk Strider and I probably would, to be fair, but many popular character readings in Homestuck feel off to me! I think fanon often either maximizes or minimizes character faults and virtues and that missing the gray tones in between entirely is already a recipe for disaster...

#ozuzo talks #Lazy answer probably but I feel like I've talked about my Beef with fanon Dirk a bunch of times #And this happens in every single fandom because people have Flavourless Yaoi/Yuri Disease and a love for finding patterns where there aren't #Can't police fans being self indulgent and having fun obviously but I do wish people didn't misunderstand the text as much!
