this is my friend jolene! she's a bold jumping spider (Phidippus audax) and she lives in the fence where I work. I get to hang out with her for hours every shift! she's shy but sometimes she comes out to look at me. one time I saw her catch a green immigrant leaf weevil!! ferocious.
the cutest things she does are when she cleans her fancy fangs with her lil fuzzy things (pedipalps?), and when she tucks herself into her sleeping bag and closes the door. she's adorable and I love her so much.
I think she laid her eggs since I took these, since her abdomen is considerably smaller now!
