i finished heated rivalry today and that scene (in episode 5 i think) when Shane suddenly sat up in bed (i'm not even sure he was sleeping, was probably thinking the whole thing over) to explain his life long plan to a confused and sleepy but attentive Ilya. when Shane said that once they're retired, they can be free. Ilya latching on it and realising that Shane is in it for the long game, his relief, his joy. and the kisses right after! the way he said "i love you" in russian twice first, like he was so overwhelmed with emotions and love that only saying it in his mother tongue could give the weight he felt for the words. when he said it in english, looking into Shane's eyes. and the way he panicked and tried to back track as if Shane did not literally give a plan to stay with Ilya for the rest of his life. And Shane immediatly shutting those negative feelings by saying it back

it was just soooo good😭😭 i loved every second of it

honestly it always feels super gross how much award shows use bts for clout like at this point they’re so close to being one of the last performances on the grammys and for what?? a total snub in their category which is so disappointing like we get it you just have them here for the views to fuel a show that gets less and less relevant each year
