"I want you to teach me."
Fleet had shown up there before Alden arrived, which was a matter of pure chance rather than planning; Alden was perennially busy in town despite being one of the newer residents, and Fleet had been up early for a run. His injured ankle was bound up and it was throbbing, but since it was a laceration wound and not that he'd twisted it or anything, Fleet figured it wasn't a big deal to run on. As for the rest of the aches, they were just ... something to endure.
He looked from the big hearth -- cold at the moment -- to Alden, hands on his hips. "I want you to teach me how to do this. Make tools with my hands. You said you wouldn't mind teaching me."
