An Impulsive Date | | AJ + Avery

After the two women had talked about Bryce and impulsively decided to go on a date, Amber-Jade found herself texting Avery and inviting her over to the beach house for said date night. Rebekah was out with Arden for the night so Amber-Jade lit the fire pit in the back garden; and set up a cheeseboard/grazing plate on a blanket near the fire, grabbing a nice bottle of wine to accompany the spread. The redhead thought that it would be a good idea to have the date in a casual environment where they both felt comfortable; especially because the situation was already a little complicated. Once she was settled on the blanket, she texted Avery to let her know to come straight through to the backyard on her arrival.

Avery roamed the park, supplies slung over her shoulder, before she found the grassy field where she and James had agreed to meet. She was early, of course, and she took the opportunity to stretch and take in their surroundings. The paths were all hustle and bustle, though Avery couldn’t quite put her finger on why. All she could do was hope she could keep James’s attention.

Birthday Surprises | | Avery + AJ

After receiving the beautiful and thoughtful gift from Avery, Amber-Jade was quick to change into one of her favourite dresses before making her way outside to the fire pit as directed. She wasn’t really sure what Avery had planned for her birthday, especially because their polyamorous relationship with Bryce was still in the infant stages. Beside, it’s not like she had ever celebrated a birthday in any sort of relationship so she really didn’t know what to expect. “Hey you, thanks for the lovely gifts”, Amber-Jade said with a warm smile as she approached the blonde.

I don’t know much about Avery, even though I’ve had her for a long time. She’s a soft GUND dog with light fur and brown paws and ears, and is wearing a onesie that belonged to me when I was little.

Something interesting: for the longest time, I thought Avery was a Build a Bear dog, back when the store had only just opened. I think this was because I must have brought her with me on a trip to a possible grand opening, but the memory is fuzzy.

Motherly and warm, loves to give hugs if hugs are wanted

Accepted as a BAB by the others

Never leaves her onesie, feels like it’s a part of her now

Enjoys greeting and showing new arrivals; takes on a big role in making sure they’re happy and having a good time

Ronnie hadn't purchased a new record in a very long while and felt the need to get some of her stress out with impulse buying and music. So it only made sense that she would kill two birds and head into Twist and Shout. Sure she could have just grabbed something from the Apple Music store, but there was something about vinyl that was just better.

As she entered the building, she was surprised to see only one person in the store, the witch who owned it. Avery, or something. Honestly she made it a point to try to remember the people around her even if she hadn't talked to them much. Habits left over from her thieving days. Instead of browsing she walked up to the counter hoping for some instant relief. "I need a record that sounds like 'I've been through some shit' but also a good deal of 'I'm going to get over this shit'. Please tell me that makes sense."
