Skylar walked over to the pick up area and leaned against the wall, doing her best to keep out of the other patron’s way. She pulled out her phone and began to scroll through her Facebook page, absent mindedly checking to see if anything interesting had popped up. Her thumb hovered over the like button on a picture her younger sister has posted, but she thought better of it. No, Bri probably didn’t want to hear from her.

Looking up, she noticed a coffee cup slide across the counter, unintelligible writing on the side. She must have missed the barista saying her name, oh well. Picking up the cup, she began to make her way out of Coffee Plus, eager for some fresh air.
