Anxious was one word to describe the small blonde. Having been recently hired up from NXT, Lily was in dire need of learning the ins and outs of the main rosters backstage areas. It was nothing like what she was used to and she kept getting turned around and lost. A couple of the girls had helped her out with finding the dressing room and makeup, but now it was time for her to grab something to eat before she had to start the interview she was set up for, which was with Randy Orton. 

She asked the first man she recognized, Derek. She has no idea what he was like outside of the ring, but inside, the crowd adored his antics. She couldn't deny that he was very interesting to watch. Having decided to wear a red plaid top with skinny light blue jeans and heels, Lily still couldn't match his height. So as he looked down at her, she was a little intimidated. 

``I'm actually looking for catering. Its super crazy back here and I've got no idea which way to go,`` she said, rubbing the back of her neck and hoping she wasn't being such a newbie bother.

Birthday Nights || Houson

Witney had an amazing day. Latin Night had got everyone fired up and then they all headed out for some drinks. She felt so loved to be surrounded by her closest friends. Everything was amazing. What made it even more amazing was having her boyfriend, Derek with there. He made everything that much better. For a while, she was on a track where she wasn’t sure of herself, she wasn’t sure where she was going but now things seemed to be on the right path. Getting back to her place, she was a little tipsy but didn’t take things too far. She held Dereks hand as they walked into her apartment and she smiled as she put her bag down and kicked off her heels. “Thank you for an amazing day, baby.” She beamed, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him.

It’s All Talk, Talk, Talk || Houson

Witney was a little shocked to get his text asking her to come over. Part of her felt nervous. The words in itself ‘we should talk’ never really sat right with her. It always made her mind race through a millions things. They had admitted that they liked each other but what if now he was asking her own to say that someone stole his phone and wrote that? Or it was all some joke? She had been crushing on Derek for a while now but she knew that there was better people out there for him so to even entertaining the idea of him feeling something in return seemed far fetched. 

She quickly shoved on a hoodie over her crop top and yoga pants she was wearing having just been putting the final touches on the cha-cha she would be performing on Monday night and headed out to Dereks place. When she got there she let out a long sigh, looking at his apartment before moving. “You can do this Carson, it’s just Derek.” She said to herself before getting out and knocking on his door, waiting for her friend to answer.

Hi?

It had been a month or so since that night at her house. The two of them had seen each other since then, but it had always been more polite than anything else. Never one for awkward or overly emotional conversations, Ash was mostly in favor of just forgetting the whole thing ever happened. Though she was surprised that Derek hadn’t brought it up yet. And she’d be lying if she said it wasn’t on her mind as she sat waiting for him at the diner where they were meeting.

Finally Meeting || Jules, Derek & Matt

It was about time that Julianne brought Derek and Matt together. She didn’t want to cross any line while Derek was mad at her but they seemed to be back on almost old tracks so she guessed now would be as good as ever. Julianne cooked a dinner for them both and tried to calm her nerves. She hoped that it would go okay. Matt and Derek were both the two most important people to her and it would break her heart if they didn’t get on. Once the dinner was pretty much cooked, she left it on a low heat and went and changed into a dress and fixed her hair and make. After coming back downstairs she poured herself some wine and let out a sigh as she waited for the guys to arrive.

Pick Up || Houson

Witney felt sick and slightly light headed from everything that had happened. When her stitches were in, the nurse gave her some sugar in order to help her but she hadn’t properly ate since lunch with Val and given everything that had happened in between then and now, things had sure got to her. She sat out the the emergency room, waiting for Derek to come and get her.  She was thankful she had friends like him she could count on. Witney was shaking at the thought of going home alone. Would Carson be back? She couldn’t deal with that. Grabbing some water from the vending machine she sat back down, knowing she had to calm herself down before Derek got here.

Coffee House Blues || Derek & Victor

The room is light.

Little dust particles float in the air, dancing in the gleam of the sunlight that streams through the window in front of Victor’s eyes. To a exploring customer, the little coffee house would be inviting -- the essence of spring filling the building. However, to the lone boy sitting at the faded booth, it is anything but. 

He is too busy imagining a brown haired, blue eyed boy eyeing him from behind the counter, blowing the cute waiter a kiss from the booth as he works, making his skin flush red. He’s too busy imagining a familiar red Jeep Wrangler idling in the parking lot, tires muddy from trekking here all the way from home. He is too busy imagining a warm coffee in his hand and a warm hand in his while the waiter is on break. 

Instead, he is too busy staring at his now-cold coffee, his unaccompanied hand sketching geometric shapes into his napkin. 

Reality is a bitch.

Victor sighs, slumping down into the seat, his converse squeaking against the recently mopped floor. He feels pathetic -- he’s been sitting here for hours on end for the last month, waiting for a certain someone to waltz through the door. However, as far as Vic is aware, he is just a silver pelt streaking through the woods at this point -- for a month more, at the most. Probably. 

Victor can feel the waitress’ eyes burning pity holes in his back. He can see it without even looking -- the sparkle of her concerned eyes, her laugh lines creased with worry and sympathy as she watches him sit alone yet again, waiting for a date that will never come. 

Victor huffs out another defeated breath, letting his pen drop from his hand, rolling across the table. He studies his drawing, frowning at the angry lines he had subconsciously drawn, the silver wolf he had sketched.
