Showdown: Round 1 (Closed: Anthony)
Owls hooted overhead. Leaves briskly whispered to each other in their ancient language as a breeze gently rolled through the forest. Scott walked, trying to clear his mind. So much had been happening in such a short moment of time, it was driving Scott crazy. Cora being buried alive, Mason being a berserker, the nightmare thing with the Tantibus from Purgatory... Scott just wanted to ask, “What next?”
Leaves crunched underfoot as he kept walking. Scott was usually optimistic but it was getting harder and harder to see the bright side of constant darkness. But it was peaceful out here with the moonlight overhead and Scott was grateful to have a moment to stop and think without worrying about screaming out in frustration.
Scott breathed deeply, exhaling all his worries. Tonight was to detach and focus on himself, just like Derek had advised. Scott sat down on a log in a clearing through the trees. It was quiet. It was very quiet.
Loud Noises || Anthony & Rachel
Enough.
Rachel's eyes fluttered open as the sound of piano keys continued to drone on in her ears. The piano was a lovely instrument and she normally didn't have a problem with people who played piano. Hell, she didn't even know how to play herself. However, her mind was still quite clouded and she really didn't feel like having a headache at the moment. As the neighbour played on, Rachel groaned and ran her hands through her face. Oh, the madness.
Taking a deep breath, she got out of her position on the couch and made her way over to the door. Her dog Coco followed closely behind.
"You sure you want to come?" she said, raising a brow at the dog?" The little canine only wagged his tail in response. Chuckling softly, she stepped out of her apartment and closed the door just as the little dog walked out. She walked down the hall, towards the staircase, and hastily descended down the steps. Reaching the floor and swinging its door open, she quickly looked for the apartment door located directly below hers.
She had heard the man was new to the building but, unfortunately, she didn't have the chance to acquaint herself yet. She usually did but with what was going on currently, she wasn't too sure if it would be a wise thing to do. Rachel stopped in front of the door and knocked firmly. It wasn't too loud to be considered an angry knock but it was loud enough to be heard over the music. She only hoped he didn't take it the wrong way.
karaoke night || Zoe & Anthony
Zoe had absolutely nothing planned for the night, which was something that was beginning to become normal. Usually, she'd lock herself in her bedroom with food and a nice movie to keep herself entertained, but that routine had gotten a bit boring. As she talked to Anthony, they both decided on hanging out. She couldn't lie though-- it felt nice having something to do. Although she didn't know him that well, she saw him as a pretty lovely, easy going guy. Quickly throwing on some shoes, Zoe tied up her hair and left her bedroom. It was her first time going to the game room, which caused her to run late as she tried looking for it. Finally, she came across it and walked in, waiting for Anthony to arrive. "I really hope I don't make too much of a fool out of myself singing." She thought to herself, sighing.
Young || Anthony and Chad
It was another Saturday evening and Chad Parker was sitting at home by himself feeling beyond bored, half of his friends were in Las Vegas having fun while he lied on the couch and did nothing, he looked at his watch and noticed it was already 7 p.m. and the only thing he did the whole day was take a shower and change his clothes. The black-haired boy took his iPhone from the coffee table and browsed trough his contacts trying to spot the name of someone who wasn't in the Sin City, he didn't browse much, since Anthony's name was eleventh on the contact list and he knew his blue-eyed friend wasn't in Vegas. It has been a couple weeks since Chad last hang out with a friend and maybe even a bigger period since he last Fisher. The hazel-eyed boy messaged his friend asking him if he wanted to go out and do something. He waited for the other boy's response so he could leave his apartment and stop by Anthony's.
After taking a leather coat from the closet and putting his phone in his pocket, Chad took the lift towards Anthony and Kiran's floor. "Come make me company." Chad said as he knocked on the door. After a few seconds, the door opened and he saw Anthony's friendly features. He felt happy for seeing his friend once again and he had been looking forward to hanging out with him for a while now. "Can we go bowling?" He asked. "It's been so long I haven't held a bowling ball that it feels like I never scored a strike." Bowling was one of the two sports Parker was almost efficient at, the other one was baseball. "Unless you want to do something else, of course. It's up to you."
[Text] Hey, Rachel. I was thinking about songs for the party and one came up that I thought we could do as a big group number. message me back if you're interested in discussing it.
[Text] Hello, Anthony. And yes, we can talk about it. What song is it?
