Copycat || Darcy & Isaac
Some things were just not meant to be, Isaac decided. He sighed and looked down at his sheet of Chinese homework with a look of defeat on his face. His neat characters lined the paper and even though he had known they were almost all perfect, a huge cross was set at the top in red pen. A sigh escaped his lips as he cast a sideways glance to the boy sitting on his right. Darcy had a sheet of paper in front of him as well, only they were filled with Russian letters and sentences. The same cross decorated his paper.
The two recruits were sitting in Amanda's room, waiting for her to arrive while they had been told multiple times to remain exactly where they were or the consequences would be worse. Both of them had been reprimanded for basically doing the same thing. They had struck a deal the day before, offering to copy one another's homework so it would halve the work load and basically give them more time for other things. Such as doing nothing or sleeping. Isaac was perfectly fine with doing both of those and had gladly agreed, although in hindsight, Division seemed like the kind of group to find out.
Isaac had done the Russian homework and Darcy the Chinese, and both had taken the first half hour that morning to copy it from the other. Well, it seemed that they would be punished in some way but Amanda was taking her sweet time coming there. Perhaps she had been above ground. "So..." he started, dragging the vowel on. "We learnt something new."
