James had promised Dana days ago that he'd take her out bowling. However, something had always come up, and he was never able to make the time. Tonight, however, was different. Tonight, he was determined to take her out on this, dare he say it, date. There was no use moping around in his room when he could be out having fun with the girl of his dreams. He could worry about Don in the morning. Tonight was all about Dana. He had drowned up in front of her house as 8:30 PM, the time they had specified days earlier. In order to apologize for being do late, he had bought her a small bouquet of flowers from the local supermarket. Where they got the flowers in the middle of the desert, James would never know. Hopefully, these flowers wouldn't eat Dana in her sleep. He doubted they would, but one could never be too careful in Night Vale. After a few seconds of standing on her doorstep, he knocked.
