Yup. And Scott's opinion(even though it shouldn't because his opinion is worthless when he uses it to vilify and judge other people) means a lot to Stiles. But yeah. He doesn't like or respect Theo. Unlike his father(who he probably didn't tell, fearing getting his dad in trouble or his father being on dumbass Scott's side) and Scott who's opinions mean a lot to him. He didn't even tell Lydia. And Malia figured it out on her own. He didn't tell anyone important to him.

I’m sure he didn’t tell his dad because a) he’s a cop and would’ve to investigate against Stiles which would be an emotion conflict and b) he doesn’t want to disappoint his dad any further. I’m not sure how broken their relationship is and if he really thinks his dad would simply take Scotts side. But he’s a cop.

But yeah you’re right, he didn’t tell anyone, likely because he thought they would tell Scott?

The whole Malia figuring it out thing is a whole other story. It’s pretty weird.

The thing is, the fact that Stiles confided in him that it felt good that Donovan was dead(because he couldn't hurt anyone anymore) just proved even more that he didn't trust Theo. He didn't give a damn what Theo thought of him. And it was something Theo already knew. He wanted to keep secret that he accidentally killed Donovan because of what Scott made him believe. Therefor, he kept secret that Theo killed a chimera. It wasn't about trust at all.

He couldn’t care less what Theo thought of him because Stiles didn’t think highly of Theo anyway, and there was no reason for Theo to judge him because he isn’t any better than Stiles, much worse actually. With Scott it’s the exact opposite. Scott (and Stiles) thinks he’s better, he’s got higher standards than everyone and expects people to live up to it and Stiles is scared he can’t and will be shunned, just like Allison and Derek were before, when they did something Scott didn’t agree with.

Honestly, I feel like inside he knows that he did the best that he could. That it wasn't his thought that Donovan died. But Scott's judgment really got to him. Granted, he knew what Scott's reaction would be. But I think he'd hoped that Scott would react differently. That he'd actually be supportive and wouldn't just believe the worst.

I think Stiles biggest problems are A) fear of being like the nogitsune and B) losing Scott (and his Dad?). And both of those fears made him very irrational and made him feel a guilt he shouldn‘t feel. Because he didn’t do anything wrong with Donovan,

I can't help but wonder where these people keep getting that Stiles trusted Theo. He told Theo about Donovan because Donovan already knew and he didn't particularly care if Theo judged him. He kept secret about Theo killing the chimera that attacked him because he was terrified of Theo letting it slip what had happened with Donovan and he knew that Scott would judge him for that. With his luck, Scott would've acted as if Theo was a saint because of what he'd done.

Working with someone doesn’t mean you trust them. That’s like saying Scott trusted Duecalion when he went with him. No he just didn’t have another choice. And Stiles thought he didn’t have another choice either. He already had Sotts answer on self defense and he was terrified to lose him from the beginning. So he told someone who he had dirt on and therefore could keep from talking to Scott. And that’s also the reason why he kept Theos secret. It’s a pact of mutual self destruction, kind of like the government of the UK works. (it’s why Cameron and the Pig Scandal happened, someone wasn’t happy and spilled some truth)

It’s as easy as that.

And Scott wouldn’t be in that situation if he hadn’t made Stiles feel like self defense was unforgivable. That’s why in the end I give Scott more blame. He set the basis by saying : “No one kills a chimera. Self defense is not an option.” If that hadn’t been said nothing would’ve happened.

Old mates know better || Donovan & Fabrizzio

Casi presuroso, salió a volver a ver a uno de sus más entrañables amigos. No es que fuera por querer acosarlo, ni por incomodarlo, pero sinceramente sentía la necesidad de comentarle lo que había pasado durante su corta ausencia. Es que, no había nadie más que pudiera comprenderle mejor, sobre todo, cuando lo conocía y podía leerlo cual libro abierto. Donovan sin duda era la persona indicada con la cual descargarse. 

Llegó al Edificio Oro, donde el guardia del mismo pidió la identificación del alumno, y que anunciara quién lo había invitado. Como no tenía más pruebas, sacó su móvil y presentó el tuit del Emperador para que le autoricen la entrada, y le permitieron el paso. Caminó, conociendo el camino, casi sin desviarse. Estaba seguro de que casi entraba a una de las ahora vacías habitaciones que pertenecían a los antiguos alumnos del Consejo. Tocó un par de veces la puerta, con detalles dorados, para llamar a su amigo. -- ¿Donovan? --
