Of course that seemed absolutely ridiculous when she thought about it. Then again, she’d always been nervous around Louis. But this was different because these nerves weren’t simply nestled in her stomach. These butterflies were part of a traveling show and she felt them in her stomach, her throat. They made her hands shake and palms sweat and she was positive she was a huge mess. On the inside at least. On the outside she seemed cool, collected once she wiped her palms against the fabric of her jeans.
Now, Noah was pacing back and forth across her living room waiting. She’d started getting ready too early, afraid she wouldn’t have enough time and now she had nothing but. Nana was sitting a few feet from her, head bobbing back and forth as she followed Noah’s paces. She was about to take her phone out of her pocket and see how much time her nerves had killed when the doorbell rang. Noah felt her body jolt as she skipped towards the door, looking back at Nana to throw a quick “no couch while I’m gone.” over her shoulder before taking a deep breath and pulling the front door open. A smile rose to her face just at the sight of him. “Hi there.”
Arielle looked in the mirror, once again fidgeting with her hair. She wished her sister was still around. If there was one thing Adella was good at, it was getting ready for dates. Her stomach flip flopped as she tried to calm her nerves. It wasn't fair, she hung out with David all the time and was fine, and now, just because it was classified as a date she was nervous? She knew it was stupid but no matter how much she tried to calm down it wouldn't work.
Slowly and carefully, not wanting to fall down the stairs and have enough more bumps and bruises on her legs, maybe she shouldn't have worn a skirt... she made her way to the lobby. Not seeing David, she leaned back against the railing, tapping her thumb on the smooth metal as she waited.
Ryon had a whirlwind of a week while in Bermuda. He had ended up sleeping with the woman he couldn't stand...twice, had quite a few arguments with complete strangers, and now he was on his way to meet Tori for a date. Pepper was being a bit of a nut lately, and to be frank, Ryon didn't want to have anything to do with her now. Especially not that he and Tori were finally going to be able to start getting closer. Ryon was almost at the beach, where he was planning to meet Tori. He picked up some sandwiches at work, and he hoped that Tori was hungry enough for some. Ryon spread out an large towel on the sand, sat on it, and waited for Tori to arrive.
Notes: Kurt and Blaine have a first date at Blaine's house. They eat, watch Grey's Anatomy and kiss.
Blaine had been careful that morning not to have an outfit repeat for the first date. Second date? He wasn't sure how many official dates they had gone on but if it were left up to him, he would count the first time they got coffee as a date as well as the time they made out on the couch. He would count the time they had gotten drunk together but Santana had been around then. He quickly checked himself in the mirror and switched out his bow tie from the lobster pattern to a solid color, one that he thought was more appropriate for a date, and went back downstairs where he had left Kurt with the Chinese takeout they had ordered. "Sorry about that."
Kurt was happy. There really wasn’t another way to describe it. He’d felt like he’d been wearing a permanent grin on his face for the past two days sense Blaine had come over. He almost couldn’t believe that he and Blaine were together. Even if they did need to keep their relationship a secret, Kurt was still glad to be able to be this close to Blaine. But that also did mean that Kurt needed to use a lot of his self-restraint to not go up to Blaine and kiss him every time he saw him, which had happened a few times today already. Kurt was pulled from his thoughts by Blaine’s voice. He turned his head and saw that Blaine had changed his bow tie and this one made him look even more handsome. If that was possible. “It’s alright, you aren’t missing out on much,” he said, smiling wide. He reached for a container of takeout and a pair of chopsticks. “Now come here and eat,” he said, patting the couch beside him.
Blaine grinned, going to sit next to him. "You didn't have to wait." He reached for the remote to get Grey's Anatomy set up so they could watch while they ate. "So, how was school?" Though they had spent some time together when they could, they didn't really have any classes together being in different years so Blaine was curious. He picked up a pair of chopsticks and dug in.
Kurt “It’s a date, we’re supposed to eat together,” said Kurt. Kurt pulled his legs up and sat cross-legged and scooted a bit closer to Blaine so that their knees were touching. “It was fine,” he said in between bites. “It was kind of slow, really. And I’m pretty sure my Algebra teacher fell asleep for like five minutes during class,” he added. “How was yours?”
Blaine hummed in agreement and crossed his legs, taking a bite of the food as he listened to how Kurt's day went. A surprised laugh escaped, "I'm surprised you're doing so well in Algebra." He wondered how anyone got any learning done with the teachers being the way they were. A shrug, "It was alright. Classes were fine... it was really hard not to just... I don't know, hold your hand when we were talking together and stuff."
Kurt let out a laugh and nodded. “I know, so am I. I think I learn more from doing homework then the actual class,” he said. Kurt looked at Blaine when he shrugged. “I know what you mean. I really wanted to kiss you at lunch today,” he confessed. “But at least now we have all night to do all the hand holding we want,” he added with a smile, leaning over to press a small kiss to Blaine’s cheek.
Blaine grinned, leaning into Kurt's kiss. "Mhm, that's true. Food and Grey's Anatomy first?" He reached for the remote again to press play, starting from where they had left off at Kurt's the other day.
Kurt nodded. "Mhm, that sounds good," he said, turning his attention towards the show. He finished his carton of takeout and set it on the table. He moved to the side a bit and leaned his head against Blaine's shoulder.
Blaine smiled at Kurt. It was good that he was comfortable enough around him to do things like this. He finished his takeout quickly and set it on the table before placing his hand on Kurt's.
Kurt curled his hand around Blaine's. He could barely concentrate on the show because of Blaine's nearness it wasn't something Kurt was used to. But it was nice. Really nice. After a few minutes, Kurt raised his head and placed a few small kisses along Blaine's jaw.
Blaine had no trouble concentrating on the show until Kurt started kissing him. He laughed then bit his lip, looking down at Kurt. "Would you like to...?" He left the question hanging in the air, unsure how to ask if they should make out.
Kurt kissed up Blaine's cheek and pulled his head away. He smiled at him. "Only if you want to. It can wait until we're finished with the episode," he said before leaning his head back on Blaine's shoulder.
Blaine didn't actually want to wait but decided they should do more than just kissing if he wanted to show Kurt that he was serious about being with him. Kissing was great at all but being with Kurt in general was the best part. After the episode was over though, he looked down at Kurt and smiled, brushing his thumb across his hand.
Kurt was glad that Blaine hadn't decided to kiss just yet. It's not that Kurt didn't want to- he really did. But spending time with Blaine was amazing too and he didn't want their relationship to just be about the physical stuff. But that didn't mean that Kurt wasn't extremely happy when the episode finished. Kurt squeezed Blaine's hand back and shifted so that he was sitting, facing Blaine. He leaned over and kiss Blaine on the lips. "Hi," he said, smiling.
Blaine "Hi," he repeated, mirroring Kurt's smile and going in to kiss him, forgetting all about the second episode that had started up on its own.
Kurt met Blaine's lips halfway, kissing him back. Wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck, he kissed him harder, pressing their bodies as close as he could.
Blaine smiled into the kiss, shifting so his body would fit Kurt's like a mold. His hands went into Kurt's hair as he kissed back, glad that Kurt hadn't seemed upset about his messy hair afterwards the last time.
Kurt surprisingly didn’t mind having Blaine’s hands in his hair. Usually he was very particular of who got to touch his hair, but having Blaine run his hands through it felt really, really good. He placed his arms around Blaine’s waist, loving how well their bodies fit together. He kept on kissing him, sliding his tongue over Blaine’s lips.
Blaine A surprised exhale then he mirrored the action, his tongue over Kurt's bottom lip as his hands left his hair and traveled down his shoulders to his lower back to rest there, trying to pull him even closer.
Kurt opened his mouth to let Blaine’s tongue in. Kurt moved his arms down to Blaine’s lower back, pulling them closer yet again. Kurt wanted nothing more than to push Blaine down on the sofa like he had last time, but remembering what that position had led to, he wasn’t sure if that was the greatest idea. He didn’t want to rush things. Instead he just continued kissing Blaine harder on the mouth.
Blaine Who knew tongues inside each other’s mouths could feel good. God, kissing was weird. Blaine ran a hand along Kurt's spine before sliding it through his hair again. He whined into Kurt's mouth and pulled away to bury his face into Kurt's neck to kiss there while he caught his breath.
Kurt shuddered at the sound of Blaine’s whimper. He was glad when Blaine pulled away from the kiss; he needed to catch his breath too. But then he felt lips at his neck and it was Kurt’s turn to let out a moan. “God, Blaine,” he murmured, leaning his head back to give Blaine more access to his neck.
Blaine chuckled deeply. "Yeah?" He left a few kisses here and there before settling in to suck the skin near Kurt's collarbone.
Kurt groaned, not being able to find words as Blaine went to suck on his collarbone. Kurt had no idea that that could be such a turn on for him, but the feeling in the pit of his stomach told him otherwise. "Blaine," he said, his voice high, "If you give me a hickey, no amount of concealer is going to be able to hide it," he said, not really caring that much to get Blaine to stop.
Blaine pulled away from Kurt's neck with a pop then kissed the spot once before kissing his way up his neck to his jaw. "You can always wear shirts that cover it?"
Kurt "Mm but it's such a hassle to have to hide it," he said, putting his hands on Blaine's shoulders and pulling his chest closer to kiss his lips again before moving his head down to nuzzle at Blaine's neck.
Blaine "Point taken," he muttered, glancing at the television. "Want to cuddle and watch the second episode?"
Kurt smiled at Blaine and nodded. “That sounds perfect,” he said. He grabbed the remote before wrapping his arm around Blaine’s waist and cuddling into his chest.
Blaine gave an amused chuckle and wrapped an arm around Kurt's shoulder. "Comfortable?"
Kurt hummed and turned his head to kiss Blaine’s chest. The arm around his shoulder felt extremely good. “Mhm, very comfortable,” he said, tightening his arm around Blaine’s waist, turning his attention towards the show.
Blaine smiled down at him before watching the screen, the second episode starting up. About thirty minutes in, he began thinking too much, coming up with new ideas for dates. Not that he was unhappy with the way things were going, but he wanted to do other things with Kurt as well. Fancy restaurant dates and such.
Kurt kept his attention on the show for the better part of the first half hour. It had been a while since he’d watched it and he was remembering why he loved the show so much. Once the episode was close to being over, Kurt glanced up at Blaine to tell him something about the show when he saw the expression on his face. “Hey, you look deep in thought,” said Kurt.
Blaine had been busy making a mental list in his head when Kurt made a comment. He smiled down at him. "Yeah, I'm sorry... I'm just... really happy being with you. I keep thinking of all the things we can do together."
Kurt “It’s okay. I’m really happy being with you too, B,” he told him “Oh yeah? Like what?” he asked with an interested smile, turning his head towards Blaine.
Blaine thought for a moment. "I have a feeling that shopping with you would be fun... and there's a carnival next week if you want to go." It wasn't fancy restaurants but he didn't feel like it was time to do that type of thing yet.
Kurt laughed. “Yes, shopping with me can be pretty fun. At least, if you consider me giving my opinion on everything fun,” he said. He thought about the carnival. The truth was he hadn’t been to one in years. But he knew that going with Blaine would probably be fun. “Yeah, a carnival sounds great, B,” he said.
Blaine "I honestly wouldn't mind your opinions," he said with a shrug. "In fact, I'll let you pick out the new bow tie I buy." He actually didn't mind, especially since Kurt did have a good fashion sense. "Are you scared of heights?"
Kurt “Do you not already have enough bow ties?” asked Kurt with a chuckle, reaching up to play with the bow tie Blaine was wearing. “But okay, shopping together could be a nice date for us,” he added. “Um, a little bit. I’m not really great with Ferris Wheels,” he admitted.
Blaine "I only have about twenty... or more." He nodded eagerly, hoping that they could actually have a shopping date. "It definitely would be." He cleared his throat, covering up an amused laugh. "Aw, Kurt. That's alright. We wouldn't have to go on it if you don't want to but if you do, I'd be right there beside you.”
Kurt chuckled. “So I guess one more wouldn’t hurt, right?” he said with a playful smirk. Kurt swatted at Blaine’s arm. “Don’t laugh at me, Anderson. They can be scary sometimes,” he said. “Aw B, you’re so sweet. My hero,” he said, leaning up to kiss Blaine’s mouth.
Blaine "Or, you know, ten more?" His eyebrows raised and he pressed his lips together so he wouldn't laugh again then realizing Kurt was going to kiss him, he leaned down for the kiss which was weird considering he was usually leaning up.
Kurt just rolled his eyes and kissed Blaine again. Soon enough the leaning up position was hurting his neck so he decided to move himself up Blaine’s body so that his face was level with Blaine’s. He kissed him again, reaching a hand up to cup his face.
Blaine One of Blaine's hands found its way into Kurt's hair again while he rested the other on his hip, kissing Kurt back until he was breathless and left panting into Kurt's mouth.
Kurt 's breath hitched when he felt Blaine's hand on his hip. He let out a low whine when he felt Blaine panting. Kurt pulled off of Blaine's lips and looked at Blaine through his lashes. "You kiss really well, you know that?" he said breathlessly.
Blaine Oh wow, how had he never realized how long Kurt's lashes were before. That whine went straight to the place he knew he shouldn't be thinking about, especially with Kurt there. After he was gone though, he would have to do something about it. "You think so?"
Kurt smiled and nodded at Blaine. "Mhm, I know so," he answered in a low voice, kissing him again.
Blaine "Oh god, Kurt," then Kurt was kissing him again and he couldn't think straight.
Kurt smiled into the kiss, slyly sticking his tongue in Blaine's mouth. He put one hand in Blaine's hair and ran the other one over his chest before settling it on Blaine's stomach.
Blaine sucked on Kurt's tongue, trying not to think about that hand. If it were any lower...
Kurt fixed his position so that he was almost kneeling over Blaine, his legs on either side of his body. He could feel himself start to get carried away but he couldn't bring himself to care. He was enjoying sucking on Blaine's tongue way too much.
Blaine hands went to his waist and hovered there, unsure what to do. He was enjoyed himself and he was sure Kurt was too but it was getting heated again, too fast, a repeat of the other day. "Kuuurt," he whined then, "we should probably stop."
Kurt At Blaine's words, Kurt pulled away from the kiss. "Right, yeah. I'm sorry. I got a bit carried away," he said shyly, feeling his cheeks get red. He hadn't meant to take the kissing that far. Again.
Blaine smiled, burying his face into Kurt's neck. "It's alright, Kurt. It's normal for us to get carried away, I think. I mean, we're teenagers."
Kurt smiled and rested his head against Blaine's. "I know it is but I keep telling myself I want to take things slow and then we kiss and that just goes out the window. I really like kissing you, B," he said.
Blaine chuckled, running his hands through Kurt's hair again. It was just as soft as he imagined it to be. "It's like we're making up for all the years you've liked me. You did like me for quite a while and I'm sorry I never realized it before."
Kurt leaned in to Blaine running his hands through his hair. It felt better and better every time Blaine did it. He chuckled a bit at Blaine’s words. “You make it sound like I’ve been pining for you forever,” he said. “And it’s okay that you didn’t notice. I tried to make it as least obvious as I could, so I’m glad he worked,” he said with a smile.
Blaine "Thanks for waiting for me to realize," he kissed him again. "Mhm... oh, what time does your dad want you home?"
Kurt “Mhm, you’re welcome. I would’ve waited longer too, you know,” he said, kissing Blaine back. He pulled back. “Um… for around ten,” he said then peered over at the clock. “Which is soon. Wow time goes by fast,” he said.
Blaine sighed and moved away from Kurt so he could get up and find his keys. "I guess we'd better go then. I'd hate it if your dad didn't like me."
Kurt pouted when Blaine moved away from. "Yeah, I guess we should. Blaine, it is incredibly hard not to like you, you don't need to worry about that," said Kurt, standing up from the couch. "But yes, making my curfew would probably be a smart idea," he added while picking up his jacket and slipping it back on from where he'd left it.
Blaine After finding his keys, Blaine waited for Kurt to get his things so they could go. "I know and I quote "you're every parent’s wet dream." A roll of his eyes and he went to the door. "Ready?"
Kurt let out a laugh. "Who said that? That is actually kind of hilarious," he said, walking to the door and kissing Blaine on the cheek. "I really don't want to leave but yes, I'm ready,"
Blaine "One of mom's friends," he opened the door and motioned for Kurt to go first. "I don't want you to leave either but rules are rules. After you.
Kurt "You are such a gentleman," smiled Kurt as he stepped out of Blaine's house and made his way to Blaine's car, getting in on the passenger side and waiting for Blaine to follow.
Blaine: "Much better than being every parent’s wet dream." He made sure to lock up before following Kurt and sliding into the car. "What would you like to listen to?"
Kurt "Being a parents wet dream isn't that bad, though. It'll just make it easier for you to get along with your boyfriends' parents," said Kurt. He smiled when Blaine got in the car. "Just the radio is fine," he answered, sliding his hand into Blaine's.
Blaine liked the sound of that. Maybe it wasn't so bad afterall. "Alright," he squeezed Kurt's hand and started off towards his house. "How are your dad and Carole doing?"
Kurt squeezed Blaine's hand back, rubbing his thumb over Blaine's knuckle. "They're doing great. I think. My dad doesn't really talk about it much but he does seem really happy, so I think they're okay," he answered.
Blaine "I'm glad he's happy." He started singing along with the radio for a while before they showed up at Kurt's house. "I'll walk you to the door."
Kurt: nodded to Blaine. "Me too." He hummed along happily with Blaine until they got to his house. "You don't have to do that, B. But thank you. And I'll kiss you goodbye in here," he said before leaning over and kissing Blaine on the lips.
Blaine smiled into the kiss but tried to smooth Kurt's hair down some from where he had previously messed with it. "I'll call you when I get home?"
Kurt chuckled as Blaine tried to smooth down his hair. "You're going to make it look more messed up than it already is, it'll be fine," he assured him, pulling away from the kiss. "Of course," he said. "And thank you for tonight, Blaine. It was really great," he added, pulling Blaine in for a short hug.
Blaine was leaning across the seats for the hug. "Anytime, Kurt."
Kurt nodded and reluctantly pulled away from the hug. He kissed Blaine on the cheek one last time and got out of the car, making his way towards his house. He knew that he had a huge smile on his face and he knew that it also probably wouldn't be going away any time soon.
Buttoning up his shirt, Gavin took in a deep breath as he looked at himself in the mirror. Did he dress up enough or did he need to add more? He shook his head slightly. Why was he so nervous? Maybe it was because he was finally going out on a date with Ava Woods. There was something about her that always intrigued him and it had been awhile since he had a crush on her. He had meant to ask her out on a date earlier before but he always chickened out. She made him.. nervous. He never really showed it but he could feel it. His hands would always clam up and his throat would become dry and he would feel his cheeks burn whenever he spoke to her. Now that they were rooming together here in Vegas, it actually helped along with the kind words of Taylor North. It was nice to know that others supported him unlike his parents who, if they knew about Ava, would most likely disapprove since she doesn’t fit their kind of lifestyle. The boy snapped out of it as he fixed his shirt and stepped out of the bathroom. Luckily, there was two bathrooms. The rooms were really big so he wouldn’t be seeing Ava change or anything like that. He walked over towards his suitcase, opening it slowly as he grabbed his shoes and slid them on.
Once he was all set, he stepped out of the room. Walking back and forth down the hall, he was extremely nervous now that the time was getting closer. Would she like it? Would she have fun? He was taking her out to eat then just walk the strip and watch the Bellagio Fountains. She would enjoy that right? He shook his head slightly as he stopped dead in tracks. What if she didn’t like it? What if she hated it? What if she hated him after tonight was over? Gavin shook his head once more, he needed to be positive. It was last minute and he didn't think that his first date would be in Vegas but he was determined to make it a night to remember for her. He rubbed his hands together and took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he watched a few people walk past him towards he elevator. It was time. He walked back to the room and knocked, which made him feel odd since it was his room but he wanted Ava to get ready in peace. A smile appeared on his face as she opened the door, "Well hey roomie, you look... amazing." He looked her over then looked up at her, smiling before he took a step. "Uh, ready to go?" He questioned as he waited on her.
Dizzy paced back and forth in the dorm room lobby, wondering why she'd turned up half an hour early. She couldn't really help it and had been bouncing off the walls for the entire day. When Nikki had asked her out on the date she'd been ecstatic, until she'd realised that she still had to wait five days until Friday. But now Friday was finally here and the only thing going through her head was the reoccurring thought that she would somehow mess this up. Shaking her head to try and clear it, she decided that pacing around was probably the wrong thing to do and instead leant up against a nearby wall.
But maybe pacing had been the way to go, because she was in dire need of something to do. Fiddling with the cuff of her sleeve, she glanced at her watch again, sighing as she realised she still had 15 minutes to go. She honestly had thought she was going to be late earlier when she'd gone through every clothing combination available to her. Eventually she'd settled for a simple coral pink shirt, grey skirt and black blazer get up. It was casual but still cute enough for a date. Or at least that's how she hoped it came across. Maybe she should have gone for the black dress she had? Contemplating changing, she shook her head again wanting to be there for when Nikki showed up. It wouldn't do to turn up 30 minutes too early, only to go and be late at the last minute.
Alison: *Sits in her house patiently, absolutely covered in cats*
Quinn: *Stands outside the front door, shuffling nervously, before finally finding the courage to knock.*
Alison: *jumps up, scattering a couple cats* Oh... right. *goes to open the door* Hi, there!
Quinn: *smiles shyly* H-hi...*blushes*
Alison: Here...! You can come in. *smiles and stands back while CB attacks Quinn's feet*
Quinn: *bites lip and looks down at the most adorable cat at her feet* So cute... *not sure whether to move because of the cat*
Alison: CB! Stop that! *scoops him up and he tries to claw at Quinn from afar* Sorry. I tipped over his box, and he gets all upset. *the rest of the cavalry arrives*
Quinn: *Just smiles as Alison takes him away* Oh that's okay, it was cute. *Steps into the house and smiles as all the other cats approach her* So if this one is CB, which ones are the others.
Alison: Um... *shoves CB in Quinn's arms and she'll hopefully hold onto him* The little one's obviously Ricky. Lola has one eye. Hallie looks scrappiest, and Domino's pleasantly plump. *smiles proudly*
Quinn: *Cuddles the cat in her arms, scratching him behind his ears* They're all so cute, I'm so jealous of you right now. *looks at the other cat's and giggles at the description of Domino*
Alison: *Ricky sulks and goes to Ali* Aww, poor baby. *scoops him up* I spoil him, I think. *Hallie and Lola move over towards Quinn*
Quinn: Nothing wrong with spoiling him *smiles* He's so cute. They all are. *still holding onto CB, bends down to stroke Hallie and Lola*
Alison: *cuddles Ricky into her neck* We lost Lola once, since she's so dark. Couldn't find her for days. She and Hallie end up on these adventures... I'm boring you, aren't I?
Quinn: *blinks up at her* Not at all... I love cats and I'd gladly listen to you talk about them all day. *feels CB squirming in her arms and tickles his belly*
Alison: Oh, good. *giggles* He likes you. *Ricky tries to bite her fingers* ...geez... What were we going to do today?
Quinn: I'm glad *wishes she could have a cat* And I don't actually know. I started of thinking of ideas but then got distracted with everything that's been going on... We could just go and see a movie or get dinner. *blushes* I know that's kinda lame, but I just mostly want to spend time with you.
Alison: You wanted something safe? *fights with Ricky and thinks about it* As much as I like movies, I'd rather spend my time talking with you. So... we could go to the strip mall and look at the ugliest outfits we can find?
Quinn: *pauses* Y-you would? *laughs* That actually sounds like a great idea. *CB chooses this moment to jump out of her arms*
Alison: Umm... yeah. Movie first dates sound shallow. *CB goes to his box* Um... What was I saying?
Quinn: *Rubs the back of her head sheepishly* Yeah I guess so...*spies CB in his box and laughs* Date...strip mall...do you want to head off now?
Alison: Sure. *Plops Ricky down next to Hallie, who tackles him playfully* I need to get my jacket first... *goes for it* So...?
Quinn: *Smiles and waves at the cats to say bye* You look really nice by the way *blushes* Not that you normally don't because you do...I mean you always look nice, just especially now...okay I'm shutting up now. *holds the door open for Alison*
Alison: *blushes too* You're so sweet, thank you. *lets Quinn be the gentleperson here* You're beautiful, you know that? *attempts to de-cathair her skirt*
Quinn: *ducks her head down, looking up at Alison through her eyelashes* T-thank you. No one's ever said that before. *walks out to where she parked her car*
Alison: Well they should say it more often. *Bites her lip and goes to open the car door* I'm sorry I can't drive.
Quinn: Don't worry about it. I love driving, so that's just good news for me. That's if you're okay with me driving that is...*pouts slightly*
Alison: Of course I'm okay with it. I just, y'know, can't. *Sits in* So you've never been on a date before? Really?
Quinn: *gets in the car and shuts the door* Nope, this is definitely the first one I've ever been on. *smiles* Why do you sound so surprised?
Alison: Because you're gorgeous and sweet and smart? No-brainer. *sits back*
Quinn: *blushes* Well you're one of the few people who seems to think so. I think my general geekiness tends to put them off though. *laughs* I'm surprised you haven't run off screaming yet *pulls out into the main road and starts to drive to the strip mall*
Alison: *laughs* Oh hell no. *hums a note* I'm pretty sure I don't have bad taste in women, so... you know...
Quinn: *giggles* Oh I don't know about that... you are on a date with me. *smiles at her* Me on the other hand...my taste in women is impeccable
Alison: *playing with her hair* You're sadly mistaken if you think so lowly of yourself. I've been thinking about- um, stuff, ever since I met you.
Quinn: *looks surprised* What kind of stuff?
Alison: Y'know. *shrugs* Kissing you. Focus on the road.
Quinn: *clutches at the wheel tighter, her face getting even redder* Oh
Alison: Your lips are awesome, okay? *snorts*
Quinn: *gulps* umm thank you? *wishes the mall was closer*
Alison: Safety is super important, y'know.
Quinn: *frowns a little* I know, I know. I'm a really safe driver though so you have nothing to worry about. *bites lip*

Alison: Wish it actually made sense if you could teach me or something. *pouts*
Quinn: Teach you? To drive? *eyebrows knit together*
Alison: Yes, now keep driving please. I can't stop thinking about irrelevant things.
Quinn: *cracks a smile* Are they good irrelevant things? *is curious*
Alison: You already know about them and stuff.
Quinn: *smiles even more and blushes* Kay...*sees the strip mall up ahead and pulls into the park lot*
Alison: *peers out the window and wonders if she's doing this date thing wrong* Oh, yay, the most exciting place ever...!
Quinn: *raises an eyebrow, never quite sure if Alison is being sarcastic or not* Yeah we're here...*suddenly shy now that they're parked outside*
Alison: Whoo. *grins and gets out of the car to stretch* Ahhh...! So. Clothing. What don't you like to wear?
Quinn: *gets out of the car and locks it behind them* Uhmm... well it's not like I'm that fashionable myself...What about you?
Alison: Umm, y'know... Ugly clothing? I generally just avoid it... But the point is to find hideous things, so we shall. *steps closer to Quinn* There's maybe three stores to choose from, yeah? The Kohls... and those other places I've never been.
Quinn: Oh well there are definitely some hideous things in this mall. I came here last week and there was this one outfit I saw that blinded me a little. *laughs nervously at their close proximity* Lead the way...
Alison: Into the Kohls! Make way for the sales rack! *grabs onto Quinn's hand and starts to march*
Quinn: *looks down at their hands and blushes* Y-yeah.. *is dragged along*
Alison: *winks cheekily* We can share a dressing room if you like.
Quinn: *feels her face get even warmer and nods before she can stop herself* I mean...*bites her lip* I...
Alison: I was kidding. I think. *laughs and pulls her into the store* C'mon, the sales are in the back...
Quinn: *looks around* I've never actually been in here...most of my clothes come from the internet *smiles like a goofball*
Alison: *rolls her eyes* Well this is one of the places in town my mother does let me come into. It's big, and I can find pretty much everything I need here in a short period of time. How do you know your stuff will fit?
Quinn: *shrugs* I don't really. I mostly hope for the best, but most places I buy from have the same sizes no matter what so once I find one thing that fits, it's quite easy. Drives my parents crazy though *laughs a little*
Alison: I don't fit very well in clothing, really. *hums and pulls Quinn up to the sales rack* So it's mostly exploration while my mom plays around in the shoe section. *holds up a red leather miniskirt* So....?
Quinn: *mumbles* Well you always look good when I see you... *chokes at the length of the miniskirt*
Alison: ...Quinn? *waves a hand in front of Quinn's face* Uh...
Quinn: Yeah.. I'm good... uh, red leather...not so good? *not sure of what to say*
Alison: You didn't have to wear it or anything... *frowns*
Quinn: *looks down* I know... I... did I say something wrong *starts to internally panic a little*
Alison: B-but you look really upset. I'm worried that ~I~ said something wrong. *shuffles*
Quinn: *looks at her and smiles, squeezing her hand* I'm not upset, I'm just really nervous.
Alison: *pouts* How are you nervous?
Quinn: *amused look* I'm awkward generally and I'm on my first ever date. And you're really beautiful...and I'm worried I'll do the wrong thing, or say the wrong thing. *blushes* I like you...
Alison: I like you too. That's why I asked you out. *steps into Quinn's personal bubble* You've done nothing wrong but worry me a bit, and that's hardly your fault.
Quinn: *smiles shyly* I'm glad you did and good. I wouldn't wanna upset you. I'll try and stop worrying you though *winks and bites her lip*
Alison: *kisses Quinn's nose quickly and pulls back* Cool. Did you want to pick awful outfits now?
Quinn: *eyes widen and she practically melts* Uhm yeah, that would be good. *looks down at the rack and sees the ugliest beige/green sweater* This is pretty bad...
Alison: Ooo, you need to pair that with some great bottoms... what size are you...?
Quinn: Umm 24 inch waist I think *frowns* I so haven't gone clothes shopping in awhile... you can tell *laughs*
Alison: It's fine. Um. Okay, you're about my size, then. I'm a 4. *rummages for some tweed* Yes... or yes?
Quinn: *puts her thumbs up at the sight of tweed* I think we have a winner *laughs* We just need to find you something now
Alison: OH GOODY. You pick the bottoms, and I'll find the top.
Quinn: *smiles and flicks through the racks* God some of this stuff is awful... *realises that she said that a little loud and blushes* Uhmm... what about this? *lifts up a pair of yellow and blue plaid jeans* How does this even exist?
Alison: ...Omigawd. *covers her eyes* I don't- I just... no. *pulls up a green christmas sweater with a tree on it, and a strange royal blue tunic* Which?
Quinn: *looks back at the jeans and cringes* Yeah it's a little much isn't it *puts it away quickly* That tunic though... I didn't think people still wore those. It's perfect *laughs*
Alison: Sweet. We are going to look so awesome... *puts away the Christmas sweater and goes to retrieve the pants* I forgot my camera. Darnit.
Quinn: *laughs and pulls her camera out of her bag* You forgot that you're on a date with a reporter. I carry this thing with me everywhere. Let's go change, shall we?
Alison: Oh. Whoa, yay. *grins widely and starts walking toward the dressing rooms* This way.
Quinn: *follows her, trying not to check her out but failing miserably* We're going to look hilarious...
Alison: Oh, you're going to look beautiful no matter what. This is an experiment to see such a thing. *looks behind her* You okay?
Quinn: *nods looking a little guilty* I don't know about that and you're going to somehow pull off that awful sweater and tunic combo. I just know it.
Alison: Shush. Let's let the clothes do the talking. *clutching the handle on the door* I was kidding about the sharing a room thing.
Quinn: I know, I'm not going to say I'm not the slightest bit d-disappointed though. *smiles and opens the door to her own dressing room* See you in a minute...
Alison: *laughs and goes into the dressing room* Okay, okay.
Quinn: *shuts the door behind her with a click and quickly gets changed. Sees herself in the mirror* Oh my god... *giggles* I look ridiculous
Alison: *calling over the divider* So the stuff fits?
Quinn: Sorta, the pants are a little big and so's the sweater, but honestly even if they did fit, it wouldn't improve the outfit *more giggling* What about you?
Alison: Uhmm, well this top is really flowy and my b- *bites her lip and adjusts the top* You'll see?
Quinn: *raises an eyebrow, really curious at what Alison means* Okay... I'm coming out now... try not to laugh too much. *unlocks the door and steps out, camera in one hand*
Alison: *blushing furiously, comes out of the room stiffly* Take it quickly?
Quinn: *sees Alison and gulps before quickly taking a photo* I um...well...how do you still manage to look hot? *blushes at her words*
Alison: Because my cleavage is showing? You are such a sucker for my boobs aren't you? *bites her lip and tries not to move too much* Your turn?
Quinn: *eyes widen* I didn't mean it like t-that... I... well... I just meant you still looked beautiful even thought the clothes are god awful. *hands her the camera quickly* I so don't get why tweed pants exist
Alison: I'm sorry! It's kind of fun to catch you off guard... Here... *does her best to frame a picture* Because they used to be dapper?
Quinn: Oh I do kind of want a tweed jacket... but pants? *raises an eyebrow* I dunno though... I think I kind of pull them off
Alison: Oh, you totally do. *snaps a picture* And we are clearly on the hottest date ever.
Quinn: *laughs and takes the camera back from Alison* Oh clearly...hottest date I've ever been on *sticks out her tongue*
Alison: Here, let's change out and do something less tweedy. These pants are, um... Let's just say walking is difficult.
Quinn: Thank God you said that. These things are hot...and not in a good way. *walks back into the dressing room and changes back into her old clothes*
Alison: *covers her mouth and her eyes get wide* Okay then. *shuffles into the dressing room and attempts to get out of those pants*
Quinn: *emerges from the room minutes later, glad to be back in her own clothes again* Phew...I am never wearing tweed pants again.
Alison: *steps out and nods, relieved* I'm never going to want anybody in those, ever again. *sighs* So. What now?
Quinn: Hmmm I'm not sure... I don't come in here much so don't really know what we could do. How are we doing timewise...not that I want to leave because if I had it my way you'd never leave...and now that just sounds weird. I just mean I like being in your company but I know you have to be home before your mom gets back. *looks at the floor, suddenly interested in the carpet*
Alison: We have plenty of time, okay? Until like 7:30. Don't worry about it this time. *reaches for one of her hands* I'm sorry that I can't always get out of the house, but I really do like spending time with you like this.\
Quinn: *looks up at her and blushes* Good because I don't want this date to end yet. I really like spending time with you too. Are you hungry? We could get food and talk? or we could go back to that bookstore. It's not that far from here.
Alison: Could we eat? *hopeful* I haven't had anything since lunch.
Quinn: *nods and smiles* Yeah sure, I'm pretty hungry too. You ready to go?
Alison: Yeah. Um. Somebody mentioned Lima doesn't take too kindly to homosexuality? *awkward*
Quinn: *sighs* Yeah this place is a little stupid like that. I've never really had to worry about it till now, but I'd rather just be myself and deal with the consequences. *looks down at their still joined hands* We can be more subtle if you want though
Alison: I don't want to. I've never wanted to. *presses her lips together* But if you got hurt or something because of it?
Quinn: *thinks for a moment* I tried not being me for awhile and people still found a reason to dislike me. I'd rather just be myself and be happy. *squeezes her hand* It helps that I can run really quickly too *laughs softly*
Alison: *nods hesitantly* So you're okay with holding hands and all. Cool. Um. But kissing... should that happen...
Quinn: *eyes widen* Holding hands is great and um... Kissing can happen if you want to...I do...want to that is *blushes* You should probably know that I've never kissed anyone before...*frowns* God that makes me sound so weird
Alison: Oh. Um. I have before, so I hope that's okay...? *awkward* We weren't dating or anything.
Quinn: Of course it's okay. Most people have *smiles* I just thought you should know *shrugs*
Alison: Umkay. *they walk out of the store* I don't want to mess up for you.
Quinn: *squeezes her hand* You could never mess up. *sends her a warm smile*
Alison: Of course I ~could~ mess up. *shrugs a little* Food. Do you like Chinese?
Quinn: Yeah Chinese sounds great *tummy growls* I guess I was hungrier than I thought...or my stomach is just agreeing that Chinese sounds great
Alison: I like your stomach. Its cute. *reaches over and pokes it* There's a place the next corner around...
Quinn: *giggles at the poking* Nuh uh... it's a pain and growls at the worst times normally. And I think I know the one you're talking about.
Alison: Well it's still totally cute. *grins* Just don't try the soup, and the food's awesome.
Alison: That the right one?
Quinn: *sees it* Yeah that's the one *quirks an eyebrow* I'll be sure not to go with the soup though.
Alison: *nods repeatedly* Yeah. *starts to pull Quinn with her more quickly* We'll eat faster if you come with me faster!
Quinn: Sorry, I'll be sure to hurry up *grins sheepishly and follows her*
Alison: *is making them half-run by the time they get to the restaurant* Yay, food! What do you like to get?
Quinn: Pretty much anything, I'm fairly easy when it comes to food...But I am fairly partial to noodles.
Quinn: You?
Alison: Noodles... everyone loves noodles. Um, I like spicy chicken dishes a lot? *waves two fingers at the hostess so they can get seated*
Quinn: *follows the hostess to their seats* I just like how they're so versatile, and they're so easy that even someone has bad at cooking as me, can still make them taste good
Alison: oh, I've messed up noodles before. *grins* Usually I'm better. *starts exploring the menu* I could just go for the General Tso's dish and be boring. Do you like spicy?
Quinn: You have? *laughs* I've messed up toast so I can't talk. And I love spicy food
Alison: ...Hey, toasters are confusing! *laughs* You can have some of mine then. Can't eat it all.
Quinn: I'm guessing you've done something similar then? *looks thoughtful* I melted a waffle iron once...still no sure how I managed that. *giggles* Sounds good to me, ready to order?
Alison: Uh... maybe? *glances down* I didn't know they melted... Order? Yeah, sure? *waves friendly-like at the waiter* Hi, I'd like the General Tso's chicken medium-hot spicy, please? And just water to drink, thanks.
Quinn: Yeah apparently they do. *smiles at the waiter* I'll have the Beef Chow Fun and a water please. Thank you
Alison: *Smiles and turns back to Quinn* So... conversation. Yup.
Quinn: Well this is the part where you realise that I'm actually a pretty boring person *laughs*
Alison: Oh, damn. I think I'm projecting now or something.
Quinn: Hmm...well you know I'm a writer, I play Soccer and I have a ridiculous amount of copies of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'...I won't even mention my Tolkien collection or the comics *laughs*
Alison: Um... Right. *looks down* Am I supposed to say things about myself?
Quinn: *blushes* Only if you want to... When I get nervous I just spout out random facts normally. So sorry about that.
Alison: *shrugs awkwardly* I'm not really used to conversation that isn't interrupted by singing. So... yeah. I don't have a lot of friends. I break technology. I don't read the news... I think you're beautiful?
Quinn: *blushes* I can't get my head round that...beautiful girls don't tend to like me.
Alison: *Bites her lip* Well. Stop not expecting that. Because you are absolutely gorgeous. Now can we stop complimenting each other?
Quinn: *laughs* I'll make no promises about that. *pauses and tries to think of a new topic* So you're in a choir? How long have you been singing for?
Alison: Maybe since I was twelve? I've always been the absolute youngest in the choir, though, so... *shrugs* So you really wouldn't sing in glee club?
Quinn: *winces slightly* Well, my voice is pretty weak so you'd be so much better off without me. I'd love to hear you sing sometime though. *smiles*
Alison: You'll hear me sing if you join, though. *pouty face* You can play an instrument, yeah?
Quinn: Oh don't do that face... I'll be powerless to resist. And I do sorta... Well okay I play the Cello and I kind of play guitar...but not that well.
Alison: *lip quivers* Well you can learn better and practice and be part of the band sometimes....
Quinn: *shrugs* Maybe...I used to play Cello for my band at my old school so its a possibility. But I'm more tempted by the idea of joining so I can hear your voice. That and possible strip p-poker *wink*
Alison: *laughs* Quinn, most choirs aren't nearly as weird as the Lima Choral Union. No strip poker at McKinley, if they can help it. But yes, do join.
Quinn: *mock pout* Well damn, there goes my main reason for joining.
Alison: Costumes, though. I've seen online what some show choirs wear...
Quinn: *chokes a little* I mean...oh really? *tries to get her mind out of the gutter*
Alison: *wiggles eyebrows* We also would be changing in the same room.
Quinn: *gulps* You're so not helping right now *smirks*
Alison: Hey, you're getting better at not getting nearly so flustered.
Quinn: Oh trust me, I probably will again later but right now using a lot of self control. That and I might be all blushed out already. *laughs* Were you trying to get me flustered?
Alison: Well maybe~ *smirks* I'm excited to see what happens when you do lose it, just a bit. Don't tempt me, now.
Quinn: You will most likely see me flustered later. Right now though, I'm trying not to act like a complete Bidoof. *frowns* Sorry geeky reference
Alison: Bidoof. *giggles* That's a funny word. Doof doof doof.
Quinn: *giggles* Possibly the cutest sight I've ever seen...
Quinn: No you saying the word doof over and over *smiles* But coincidentally it does look like our waiter is on their way back with our food.
Alison: Oh. *looks down at the table and shuffles around* I will not do that ever again.
Quinn: *reaches across to hold her hand* Hey...it was really adorable *blushing as the waiter turns up with their food but she still doesn't move her hand*
Alison: Um... well. Still not going to do that. Nope, nope, nope. Food. I enjoy that. *starts putting some on the spare plate*
Quinn: *laughs and sits back* Okay... and food is good *takes sip of water*
Alison: *makes a mumbly noise and acts more awkward than usual* Uh... So... would you ever have asked somebody out?
Quinn: Who me...asking people out? *shakes her head* That would just be awkward...people I like are usually straight or don't like me...or both.
Alison: So you are like full on gay...?
Quinn: Uhmm I actually don't identify as anything... I'm Quinn and I like people...though I will say that I tend to find myself more attracted to girls. What about you?
Alison: Sorta the same *grins* In terms of words, yeah. I like girls better, but that doesn't mean I don't like boys. Its just... I couldn't see myself as into a guy, but maybe? I dunno. I like girls. I like Quinns.
Quinn: Well that's good cause I like Alison's...well I only like the one Alison actually. *blushes and bites her lip*
Alison: I only know the one Quinn, so you're lucky. *stabs chicken*
Quinn: Even then technically I'm not a Quinn *laughs and takes a bite of her food*
Alison: Uh.... Okay.
Quinn: *smiles* Quinn is my middle name. My first name is actually Lucy but I changed to Quinn when I moved to Lima. I think it suits me more...well it does in my head
Alison: *puts head in one hand* Oh... when did you move here?
Quinn: *stops to think* Uhmm just before Freshman year of High School. So I've only lived in this town for just over two years now.
Alison: And you know it better than me *sighs*
Quinn: *smiles sadly* Well I didn't join Soccer or start the paper until Sophomore year so I had a lot of time to explore in Freshman year.
Alison: So you got busy really fast. Hum. *rolling around pieces of chicken*
Quinn: I guess I like being busy. I had no friends so I just found other things to do with my time. *puts her chopsticks down*
Alison: You should have more friends. You deserve them.
Alison: Although I thought you had them...
Quinn: I'm a little different and this town doesn't really handle different that well...plus I'm awkward round people as you've probably noticed... and you did? *frowns* What gave you that impression?
Alison: I'm different too. *fingers the ends of her still somewhat damp hair* I don't know. You seem really cool and stuff. Aren't you friends with like Sam?
Quinn: Different is good though *shy smile* And I'm definitely not cool...nerdy and bookish yes...cool no. *quirks an eyebrow* Sam? I think I've only ever spoken to him like twice in the time I've known him and once was to tell him that Dune was far superior to Avatar.
Alison: Oh... I was under the impression that- never mind. *looks down* I'm sorry.
Quinn: *cocks her head to the side* Why are you sorry? You've got nothing to be sorry for *smiles*
Alison: Okay. *stabs at a random piece of foods* Almost done
Quinn: Take your time. *takes a sip of water and then glances back at her* So have you always lived in Lima?
Alison: *nods* I've just never been allowed out of the house much. My mom's really overprotective and stuff. I wouldn't have gotten out until college, but then she had to stop working from home. *sighs* Not a fun story.
Quinn: *nods like she understands but she doesn't really* I won't ask then...*tries to smile supportively* At least you're in school now though.
Alison: Yeah... *sits back in her seat* But I'm already sixteen, and I've missed how to be a person... Oh, here comes the bill...
Quinn: I dunno... have you seen the other sixteen year olds? None of them are real people. You're definitely a better person than most of them. *reaches for the bill and quickly pays it without giving Alison time to react*
Alison: *narrows her eyes* Next time is mine, but I was going to suggest we split it.
Quinn: *laughs* So does that mean there'll be a second date?
Alison: If you want there to be...?
Quinn: *nods enthusiastically* I do...do you?
Alison: Yup yup. *grins* So we go home now? Thank you for dinner.
Quinn: *grins* Good and I guess so. It was my pleasure and thanks for asking me out.
Alison: It was definitely my pleasure. *bats her eyelashes and stands up*
Quinn: *laughs a little and gets up to follow her out, reaching down to hold her hand* Is that weird? *nods at their hands*
Alison joined the chat 16 seconds ago
Quinn joined the chat
Alison: No, of course it isn't weird. We're on a date... That's what we're supposed to do. *she thinks*
Quinn: I'm not really sure *blinks rapidly* But I like it...and as long as you do then it's okay I guess *smiles*
Alison: *bites her lip momentarily before kissing Quinn's cheek. Murmurs* I don't really mind that people are staring.
Quinn: *blushes lighly and stares back at her* Same here...I'm too happy to mind right now
Alison: Then would you mind if I did this? *steps over and leans in close to Quinn's face... lips... place* Would you?
Quinn: *blushes even more and gulps* No...I really wouldn't. In fact...I'd like t-that very m-much
Alison: Yay. *squeezing Quinn's hands, presses their lips together*
Quinn: *closes eyes and leans into the kiss*
Alison: *flutters her eyes shut and lets a beat pass before pulling back* Mm...
Quinn: *rests her forehead against Alison's* W-wow...I uh...wow *giggles*
Alison: *smiles and laughs lightly* So that was awesome.
Quinn: *bites her bottom lip and nods shyly* Y-yeah...that was amazing...
Alison: And you haven't even taken me home yet~ You're getting at least another one of those for sure. *accidentally bumps their noses together*
Quinn: *laughs and nuzzles Alison's nose with her own* Good...I was hoping we'd get an end of date kiss as well
Alison: *bites her lip again and fights a rare blush* Could we get there now? I can hear somebody talking about us behind me...
Quinn: *suddenly remembers they're in a busy mall* Yeah sure... I'll drive us back to yours now. *moves away slowly and takes her by the hand*
Alison: I just don't want you getting hurt. *sighs and moves toward the car* I dislike other people sometimes.
Quinn: *smiles at her* Hey, you don't have to worry about me. *unlocks the car and gets in* People in this town can seriously suck sometimes, and then occasionally you meet someone amazing *smiles at her*
Alison: *looks down at her feet and then steps into the car* I like meeting amazing people, really. *quirks her lip to one side up* Y-yeah.
Quinn: *starts the engine* I liked meeting you especially...
Alison: Well I rather liked meeting you too. No particular reason why.
Quinn: *pouts* Really? *checks mirrors and starts to pull out of the parking lot*
Alison: Yeah. It's just about everyday I meet hot reporters, y'know?
Quinn: *continues to pout* Where are you meeting them all? I've y-yet to meet any *laughs*
Alison: I keep them in my basement... That's probably not funny in a month like this.
Quinn: *giggles* No not really...but I'm a sucker for badly timed jokes and inappropriate humour
Alison: Oh, I'll be sure to say things at all the wrong moments. *laughs* Sorry.
Quinn: No trust me, that'll most likely be me saying the wrong things *giggles* And lots of rambling
Alison: Perfect. We can say all the wrong things together... or are they right?
Quinn: *purses her lips* Well I guess if we both don't think they're wrong, then they become right. Either way, it'll work out nicely *smiles*
Alison: Yup. *grins* You'll still have time to play with my cats when we get home. If you want. I know you're always busy and stuff... CB liked you a lot.
Quinn: I'd like that, and you really think so? *smiles brightly* I liked him too, but I think all your cats are amazing. *pauses* I've been meaning to ask, but is CB short for anything?
Alison: Mmhmm. *glances out the window so Quinn can't see her blushing* Um... Did you see CB's box? It's short for Cardboard...
Quinn: Oh yeah I did see that, I thought it was really cute. *laughs as they turn into Alison's street*
Alison: He's never noticed we change his box about every two months. But don't tell him that. *puts a finger to her lips* I don't want it to end.
Quinn: Oh I wouldn't dream of telling him. Wouldn't wanna burst his bubble. *parks the car outside of Alison's house* Don't want what to end?
Alison: Getting out of the house. Our date. Spending time with you.
Quinn: *gives her a crooked smile* Well it's not quite ending just yet...and you'll see me tomorrow. *leans over and kisses her cheek* Not to mention our next date *blushes and ducks her head down*
Alison: Oh, I can't forget about that, can I? *opens the door* Come inside and you can see my room? I don't normally get to let anybody in.
Quinn: I'd like that *locks the car behind them* I guess I must b-be special then
Alison: *nods* You're a lot of things, Quinn. *sticks the key in the front door and turns the handle* Back into Chateau Roth?
Quinn: *follows her into the house* Weird, awkward and nerdy? Oh and don't forget creepy *laughs*
Alison: Beautiful. Smart. Insightful. *scoops up Lola and leads Quinn up the stairs*
Quinn: *smiles and allows herself to be led up the stairs* Not that I know any different but I hear usually the bedroom isn't visited u-until the third date at least *giggles*
Alison: *narrows her eyes* I didn't imagine we were going to be doing anything particularly exciting in here. It is our first date. *pulls open her door... It's a room with green and brown color theming, with posters of cats and classic literature across the walls*
Quinn: *laughs* I dunno, the very fact that I'm on a date is pretty exciting already. *looks inside her room and smiles* I love it...*claps her hands together* Yay cats
Alison: *Lola meows loudly* She agrees. *leans against the door frame* So... it was interesting. Today.
Quinn: *laughs at Lola and reaches over to stroke her* Yeah definitely interesting. I had an amazing time *blushes*
Alison: *Lola bats her paws at Quinn* Thanks for accepting and all because- *Domino marches in* Um, hello. *he growls*
Quinn: *giggles and pretends to retreat when Domino walks in* All because...?
Alison: I've never had that experience, and I really wanted to with you. So I'm glad. *Domino wobbles over and sits on Quinn's foot*
Quinn: I'm glad we went out...and that I got to kiss you. I'm still having to pinch myself to prove I'm not dreaming *bites her lip to stop herself from laughing at cat on her foot* umm hi?
Alison: Awww he doesn't want you to leave. Unfortunately, I can't fit you under my bed, and he's going to have to move at some point. *Frowns* I should kiss you while you're stuck.
Quinn: *pouts* If only... I really wish I didn't have to leave. *smiles at the prospect of another kiss* Yeah I think that is a great idea...and maybe even when I'm not stuck?
Alison: No, only when you're stuck. And you are now... so... Well, if you insist. *hugs Lola close to her chest and presses her lips to Quinn's*
Quinn: I definitely do insist...*reaches hand up to cup Alison's face and smiles into the kiss*
Alison: *senses the smile, but she's trying to be the stoic here. Also she has a squirmy kitty* Mm... *nips just enough to latch onto Quinn's lower lip and suck*
Quinn: *moans into the kiss and tries to move closer, forgetting about the kitty on her foot and the one inbetween them*
Alison: *has not forgotten about the cats and is painfully aware of claws on her arm as she explores how this feels*
Quinn: *pulls away slightly, giving her another peck on the lips before pulling away completely* I...uh...mnghn *unable to find words*
Alison: *Lola meows when they pull apart* My thoughts exactly. *glances at the clock: 6:58* Um....
Quinn: *still lost for words but follows Alison's gaze* Oh...I should go, shouldn't I? *looks disappointed but understands*
Alison: There's a bit of time? *frowns* I'm sorry. *rubs Lola's neck*
Quinn: *smiles and leans across to kiss her frowny expression* Hey, no need to apologise. I just wanted to check. What time do you need me out of here by though?
Alison: *smiles, a bit sadly* In about ten minutes? Is that okay?
Quinn: Yeah that's fine...well I wish I could stay longer but you know what I mean. You'll see me tomorrow though...and if you're not busy this weekend...maybe you'd like to do something?*nervous smile*
Alison: Sure! We can do anything that you would like to do. I'm not normally doing anything unless it's choir on Sunday... it's just a matter of not having my mom around.
Quinn: I'm not sure yet, I just want to spend more time with you...so lets play it by ear?
Alison: Sure. *puts down Lola and kneels next to Domino* Come on, Dom. Get off Quinn, okay?
Quinn: *smiles down at the cute sight* Sorry Domino, I have to leave soon. I'll hopefully be able to come and visit you soon though
Alison: *Domino meows and rolls onto his back* Oh. That doesn't usually happen. He's not a very submissive guy...
Quinn: *laughs and kneels on the ground so she can tickle his belly* Aww he's such a sweetheart...
Alison: No, he really isn't. *confused* Uh....
Quinn: Maybe I'm just his kryptonite *laughs*
Alison: Hmph. I'm jealous. *sits back* I don't get it.
Quinn: *smiles sheepishly* Sorry nerd reference. *scoots over to sit next to her* Don't be jealous *pouts*
Alison: I know Superman, at least. *sulks* He's my cat, though.
Alison: ...Kind of.
Quinn: I know *bites her lip* I'm sorry? *looks at the clock and sees she only has five minutes left.* I have to go soon *her hand reaches over to hold Alison's*
Alison: I know. *pats Domino's side, but he makes a weird growl at her* It's not the end of forever.....
Quinn: I guess not...but I still hate the idea of saying goodbye *scowls a little*
Alison: Hey... you can... text me? *shrugs awkwardly*
Quinn: *smiles at her* I'd like that...and I'll see you tomorrow so it's all good.
Alison: Y-yeah. *glances at the clock again* One minute... *hastily goes for a kiss*
Quinn: *kisses back and sighs*
Alison: *pulls back* Okay, okay! Now we have to herd you out!*
Quinn: Mmkay *rolls her eyes playfully and gets up*
Alison: *stands up too and starts toward the door* You get me this weekend.
Quinn: *follows her to the door* That's true and thank god for that... I don't think I could wait another full week for another date.
Alison: I won't make you wait. *Opens the door and makes sure her cats don't escape* Have a great night, then?
Quinn: *smiles* Good and I doubt it could get much better. Today's been perfect
Alison: Great, expectations. My favorite. *leans against this doorframe now*
Quinn: *smiles and leans forward to steal one last kiss*
Alison: *laughs and lets her have it* Go! I need to get out of date clothes! I never wear dresses in the house.
Quinn: *laughs* You should... you look beautiful. *walks backwards not wanting to tear her eyes away from Alison yet, narrowly avoiding tripping over* I'll see you tomorrow!
Alison: See you tomorrow. *blows her a kiss and tries not to laugh too much* Drive safely!
Quinn: *pretends to catch it and put it in her pocket* I always do! *begrudgingly gets in her car*
Alison: *waves goes inside before she can tempt herself into following*
Alison: *and
Quinn: *smiles with amazement, before shaking her head and driving back home*
