Frozen || Kennix

Phoenix is seated in the living room, surrounded by silence and all the thoughts blaring through his mind. Since talking to his father he hadn’t been able to think properly, no thought that didn’t end with thinking about the man dying. He’d cried for hours and just when he thought he could breath again another wave would hit him. Anyone that looked at him would be sure to know that he’d been crying. 

He taps his phone against his leg absently, waiting for Kenneth to get back from wherever he’d gone. Hearing a car pull in he lets out a breath, drags a hand through his hair and waits. He’d like to meet him at the door, but his legs gave up a while back. He couldn’t move, frozen in place. “In here, he calls when he hears the front door open.”

Come and Take It - Amelia & Kenneth || Wild Buccaneers

Amelia jumped up with the rest of the students at the start of the hunt, watching as students fought to get their camera and list. Quickly she grabbed a sheet of parchment from the stacks but her attempts to get a camera were useless because of the crowd. 'Hopefully Kenneth got the camera,' she thought. Amelia had not found a partner earlier and was paired with someone at random and got partnered with a Slytherin named Kenneth. Amelia had never spoken to Kenneth prior to this, which made her nervous. She normally avoided having to interact with Slytherins since she did not get along with many and she found them extremely intimidating. She was hoping this scavenger hunt would go well. A few items on the list Amelia had never seen before, she was hoping this would be easy since she's explored nearly the whole school because of her prefect rounds but this wasn't the case. She had only ever read about the Mirror of Erised and how were they supposed to find the Room of Requirement? She walked through the Great Hall in search for Kenneth, finally spotting him outside in the entrance hallway. She walked over to him, already picking at the hem of her sweater, her usual nervous habit. "Hey, I'm Amelia," she said shyly, "I got our list... Did you manage to get the camera?"

Night Out || Kenneth & Molly

She was finally going to have some fun! Yay. She couldn't wait. It was going to be a fun night with Kenneth. 

As Molly finished straightening her hair, she paused and stared at the mirror.  She was lost in her own thoughts.  She hadn't been out for a night of fun in ages.  Molly usually was the girl who stayed out all weekends; however, ever since the ball, the ambitious party girl had disappeared. Instead of having fun in the Observatory during the night, danger loomed the halls of Hogwarts at night.  In fact, most weekends now, Molly would stay in the common room, listening to the younger students speak to each other or play games. 

Someone closed the door and she jumped slightly. Merlin's Beard! How long had she been standing there for? She checked her watch and walked out of her dorm, down the stairs, and out of the Common Room.  The butterflies wings flapped faster in her stomach.
