TCM - Coming Home

Tulio pressed his fingertips to his lips, “He doesn’t normally go for this long.” He said, running his hands through his hair and stopping to look out of the window. The night was drawing in and Tulio didn’t trust his friend not to get into trouble. “Maybe I should go and look for him. He can’t have gone far, right? He’ll be around, and I’ll bring him home, at least until tomorrow. He can walk tomorrow, when it’s light and he won’t get murdered.”

TCM - Waking Up

Tulio couldn’t be more thankful for his day off. His back ached, his feet ached, his soul ached. And on top of it all he’d awoken in an empty bed. He woke up of his own accord, not to a screeching alarm, but he got up almost straight away, walking through to see if Chel and Miguel were around. He didn’t expect to find them cuddled up in a nest of cushions on the sofa, the TV playing a repeating menu screen, and every single light in the flat on. “You two can pick up the electric bill this month.” Tulio said, loud enough to wake them.

It wasn’t until she got back to the main streets of Paris that she received a text from Luc, and when she had to give him a location to come and get her at, Alaska had been forced to stop walking. Well, sort of. She had resigned herself to pacing in front of a bench, unable to listen to Luc’s instructions to sit down. She knew if she did, she’d start crying, and more attention was one thing she didn’t need. There was already enough people staring at the blood on her face, no need to add years to the mix. When she received the text telling her that Luc was just down the street, she finally stopped her pacing. Alaska forced herself to stand still, looking down with her arms wrapped around herself in an effort to keep herself from trembling.

Spooky Sleepover || Luc + Bennett

Bennett stared at the flyer in her hand, a black and white poster advertising the demolition of Stonebridge Manor. Thanks to Lydia's influence, Bennett had quickly decided that she wanted to camp out there for the night, and who better than Luc Delis - the scariest person Bennett knew. Of course she'd instantly asked him if he'd come with her, to which he'd agreed. Honestly, Bennett questioned why Luc had actually said he'd come with her, but she quickly decided not to question it, the important thing was that he was coming.

Standing with a backpack containing a sleeping bag, food (mainly sweets and fruit), a torch with additional batteries, her current reading book as well as other necessities, such as drinks and her toothbrush, Bennett waited for Luc outside the manor, the sky growing darker by the second. It was nearing eight in the evening, no where near late, but Bennett was growing more impatient by the minute, nervous as she stood outside the deserted manor, alone, next to the only building on the top of an extremely long and large hill. 

Much to the redhead's detest, the old manor stood atop large, private grounds that were once full of beautiful shrubs but were now the habitat for rats and feral creatures. Stone walls were crumbling and the majority of windows were completely broken, the glass laying in sharp shards inside and outside of the manor.

Bennett sighed, checking her phone for the time again.
