Josie hurriedly tidied up her and Jake's apartment, clearing it of all baby equipment. Neave was in bed, but was due to wake up at any second which terrified Josie. Of all of her siblings, Nancy was the only one who knew nothing of Neave. Josie had tried to tell her, but there were trips to Canada and weddings to plan and boyfriends to appease and there was just no time. But now she'd finally plucked up the courage to let her older sister into her world and, god, there was no going back now.
She heard a gentle knock on the door and her stomach churned. Josie darted into the room that she shared with Neave to check on the sleeping infant. Sending a quick prayer to some higher form that her daughter wouldn't wake up and ruin the her explanation with her cries, she ventured back through the apartment. Josie opened the front door and offered Nancy a quick smile before stepping back and letting her into the apartment. "Come in."
