POOR. Was written in red ink over the top of Care of Magical Creatures essay, it had been 5000 words and though she admits struggling to get through it she had spent hours in the library making sure she had all the necessary information on her topic in order to write. If she received another Poor she’d be in danger of failing the course and she needed to be able to pass the course she could avoid taking it during her final year at Hogwarts. After some talking with Hagrid, he pointed her in the direction of Cassian Nott, who was apparently his star student and often came to visit Hagrid to assist with the creatures.
She found Cassian in the courtyard, sulking as he seemingly always was. She hadn’t seen him much since the ball, but she wondered if he would remember her. Walking up to him, she tucked a strand of hair nervously behind her ear. “Hey Cassian, could we talk for a minute?”
