preparations: september 2020 evaluation        zodiac searches. 

sungyeol was not sure on the song that he could do. there wasn’t a lot of songs that embodied his zodiac sign. but as they got more details, sungyeol began thinking of what he could actually take on. he wasn’t sure which direction to go into, maybe he could go into the anime direction and sing an anime opening of some sort. 

he pondered on the anime op that he could do. maybe he could do a song from wotakoi: love is hard for otaku since that was a personal favorite anime for him and also he felt that the opening by Sumika represented the hardworking side of his zodiac.

Besides Japanese was right up his alley and he could pull off the simple fun vocals with some practice. He spent the remainder of his month looking for the lyrics and learning them since deciding on a song took the better part of two weeks after the evaluation was announced.

He figured he wasn’t going to be that bad of a singer since hes had some time to practice in his time at nova and hopefully the song he picked would fit the theme. Sungyeol learned that bit of the hand dance, thinking that it would be a fun thing to add to his performance at the end of the month.

That hand thing also took him about a week to learn and essentially perfect since it just looked easy but it was tough.

However, sungyeol wasn’t a quitter. That never was his way.

august evaluation 2020: preparation for the shoots

Jongsuk was excited for this evaluation. Finally, his charisma would come to the full maximum levels that he could show off all the way. He was a charismatic you tuber and that whole vibe of his was what propelled his life to be better than anything. The lessons on posing with a professional model and a professional photographer did help a lot.

He was all leg and all pretty face so he was happy for the advice on how to pose properly and make sure that he pulled off the correct posing for his height. He knew how to pose with his face but the lessons helped with his posing with his hands and what to do with the rest of his body if the camera was focused on his face.

He wasn’t very good with the whole full body poses but he managed to pull the lessons off and even spent time at home practicing in front of his mirror. He also still had to pick a location where he wanted to go and even get his stylings correct so that he would be able to rock exactly what he wanted for the shoot and show his best side.

Jongsuk thought hard on the potential spot for his official eval shoot, deciding finally on the arcade since the arcade was full of bright colours and he knew exactly what he could end up wearing. He reached into his closet for an idea and help it up against his body.

Oh hell yeah, something like that. Skinny jeans, with an oversized hoodie and a tight stylish plaid button down. Some converses and have his hair stylishly messy. It would be super hot, he thought.

That would be a grand idea for his major shoot for the august evaluation.

Prep ||

Minhyuk was pretty ready for the performance. He knew what he had to do, and while he was upset that he wasn’t a center, it was fine. After all, he was just average and he had to deal with that. He  got the instruction lists and hair colors were supposed to be bright. he didn’t really rock the bright and he preferred the dark browns, but if he had to, he’d go for platinum. he sighed, reading the instructions. jeju was good memories and yet here he was, stuck in a place where he was confused and lost. 

He had gone to color his hair for the stage to one of his usual girls. he was somewhat debating between a few colors and he decided that he was going to ask his stylist what she thought. he walked into the salon and seeing his usual girl, he was pretty happy. “Jungie! My dear!” he exclaimed.  The blonde curly haired woman waved and embraced him tightly. “Minhyuk! So, you said this was an emergency on the phone. Whats up?” 

“My company wants me to color my hair for an evaluation and it’s got to be bright. I’m thinking platinum blonde or neon red.” he said. Minjung or Jungie as he called her, set him down into a chair and hummed. “I think platinum blonde would look superbly adorable,” she said, nodding. 

Minhyuk agreed. “Yeah, I agree. Alright, then, Jungie. Do your magic,” he said. Minjung nodded. “With pleasure, Hyukkie!”
