I want a future!fic! :D Set roughly in Stiles' last year of college, and Sterek has been an established relationship for a while.
Stiles and Derek occasionally engage in Dom/sub role play in their relationship, but they're a bit new to it and are still setting ground rules. They don't do it all they time, but sometimes when one of them needs it.
Derek has a collar that he can put on and take off when ever he wants, except he can't removed it if Stiles has put it on and Stiles won't take it off if Derek put it on himself.
I want a fic where Stiles is finishing up his thesis when Derek visits. Derek, deciding to help Stiles out, goes to the supermarket with his collar still on. Not because Stiles wouldn't take it off, but because Derek just genuinely wants to keep it on. Maybe he needs more comfort because it's around the anniversary of the Hale fire. Maybe he's been worried about monsters/hunters/werewolves in Beacon Hills lately.
Just want focus on collar as comfort and Derek's pride in who he is and who he is as Stiles'.
