Training | Rhys + Rowena

Breaking the rules was Rowena’s favorite thing to do, especially when it came down to not listening to parents. So hell yes was she eager to help Rhys train. It was like a miniature middle finger to his parents, not that she had anything against them, really, and she also got to help her friend learn to protect himself from whatever he knew was out there now. She was waiting in a tree, far out of view in the woods, mainly because she liked the view, legs kicking idly as she sat.

Tatum pushed some loose hairs that were falling out of her haphazard ponytail as she continued to pound the punching bag before her. Out of drugs and alcohol, she had to admit, she wasn't feeling very chill today. She felt overwhelmed and out of control and the punching seemed to be her latest source of stress relief. Thoughts had ceased to run through her head and her body had taken over-- right hook, left hook, jab, jab, uppercut, roundhouse, left hook, jab. She hadn't even realized how much effort she was putting into this, or how heavy her breathing had become or anyone else entering the training room.
