Worrisome | Blair & Eros
@mperosx:
These terrible nightmares.
They plague him as a new parent so much so that he gets them even when awake. Worries about the kids getting lost, or stuck, or talking to the wrong deity, or running into some heinous monster— or, as they are now, “practicing” flying.
His eyes glaze over in too many thoughts and it’s only when the arms of Blair are around him that he snaps out of it. “Oh? Oh! Blairbear, hi.”
It was strange - Blair hated to see Eros worried all of the time and yet, it warmed her heart. Perhaps it was due to her own absentee father whom she’d still not decided to forgive yet, but she had always thought most Gods were careless towards their own children. Not Eros though. Blair knew he could never be.
“What’s your worry for the day?” she teased, her around wrapped around him from behind, “You didn’t even notice me sneak up. That’s unlike you.” She gestured to the bag she carried, inside which sat a few containers, “I was cooking last night and have some leftovers for you and Ama.”
