Young Blood || Lily & Amycus AU
Lily spent weeks scouring over the different ways she could get to Amycus. She exhausted every resource and used up whatever money she had saved up for herself to get hold of the key that was nestled in her hand. The problem wasn’t getting into Azkaban, it was getting out. It took everything she had to compel one of the Ministry workers to supply her with the key necessary for Amycus’s escape. Lily had been quick to alter the man’s memory and now, here she was, standing at the gates of Wizarding hell cloaked against the pouring rain.
Prior to arriving, the redhead had stashed the key on her bracelet. Lily had shrunk it down and hooked it onto the metal chains like a charm. Hidden in plain sight, she doubted the guards would even think anything if it. Damn him for being so reckless. Her cheek still stung where Oliver Knight had struck her; it stung every time she thought about Amycus, locked up and punished. When word had gotten out that Knight had attacked her after a mental breakdown, half the school was after him: Sirius, James, Remus, Sev, and even Amycus. Problem was, Amycus had gotten to him first and Knight was dead.
Lily lifted her arms on either side of her and remained expressionless as the guard patted her down. He raised his brow at the trinket on her wrist and she lied easily enough. “It’s my grandmother’s. It’s all I have left of her and I’d like to keep it close.” The man have her a smile and lead her to the cell in which Amycus was held.
"What business do you have with Carrow?" He asked, obviously bored with his job.
The girl only shrugged and stopped in front of the cell. She resisted the urge to run at the bars, and instead walked right up to it. Lily glanced over her shoulder. “Could you please unrestrain him? Just until this visit is over. I’d like to hold his hand.” She used every inkling of charisma and sexual energy to urge the man to do as she pleased. Lily was desperate, no determined to get to the man within the cell. The guard complied, letting the shingles fall to the ground with a loud clatter as he turned to leave. He asked her to be careful and to call if she needed him. The girl only smiled and nodded, turning her attention back to the dark space in front of her. Her hand gripped one of the bars as she stepped closer.
"Amycus."
