Even though the Versae members spent almost all of their time together, working hard for the debut lingering far away on the horizon, most of them still hung out during evenings and days off. It was often needed to rewind a bit, to relax and talk about something else than the distant idol life. It was their chance to be regular young women for a while and Narae didn’t mind spending that time with her fellow group members. After all, the girls were the closest friends she had and naturally it would be them she’d most want to spend her free time with.
And so the eldest and the youngest of Versae had decided to go out for the night after the practice hours of the day was over, to meet up at one of their favorite bars and just talk about something and nothing and everything and whatever came to mind for a while. Narae’s ambition to arrive with a good time margin had been crushed when she got on the wrong subway line. Her ability to get lost in Seoul’s subway system would never cease to amaze her. Hopefully the younger girl hadn’t been able to create too much havoc in the time that had passed since they were supposed to meet. Almost twenty minutes late, Narae pulled the door to the bar open and stumbled inside, completely short of breath. Quickly scanning the room, she found Hyuna in just a few seconds. The rapper seemed to be talking to a girl who was standing a bit too close and with a bit too stiff a posture for their conversation to seem relaxed and friendly. Narae whispered an ”Uh oh” as she made her way towards her friend, waving hesitantly as a greeting.
