It was inevitable now. There was no escaping this party. No matter where Kiyeol went to try and get some quiet, if even for only an hour; it just didn’t work. Someone always showed up one way or another. Not that Kiyeol didn’t mind the people that were here. He just simply wasn’t used to all the socialization and it was tiring him out. It was surprising though how many people approached him despite him standing on his own like a wallflower. Every now and then his eyes would drift over the dancing crowd and he would just people-watch. And every now and then his eyes would drift over to a certain person. Jiwoo. Jiwoo was one of the first people who introduced themselves to Kiyeol when he first moved. Jiwoo was always so nice to Kiyeol and there was just something about them that was alluring. But, Kiyeol kept this to himself. When Jiwoo looked like they were gonna turn towards Kiyeol he quickly turned away and pulled out his phone. He didn’t want Jiwoo to catch him staring; he was worried what Jiwoo would think. He wanted to approach his friend but, he was too nervous to. Instead he continued playing around on his phone, glancing up only now and then to see if he could still find Jiwoo.
