{ ✿ } late night shenanigans
jisoo has always been a night owl – probably too much, at that. it’s not even because she’s always so busy, but there are just some nights when she ends up so occupied with something (often costume making, sometimes gaming and sometimes just way too invested in trying to wind something up in photoshop) that by the time she starts yawning, it’s already half past 2am.
this is one of those nights, too, which is probably why jisoo is still wide awake when she hears a series of unsettling noises coming from the backyard of the apartment complex that is (unfortunately for her) way too close to the ground flat she and her roommate is living in. jisoo freezes in her chair and takes the headphones off so she could dedicate both of her ears to the noises that don’t seem to stop; in fact, they’re just getting louder and louder, so she decides to have a look and pray that it’s just probably one-year-old cocker spaniel who thought it would be funny to wreak havoc in the backyard at almost 3am in the morning. (this thought should be somewhat comforting, but it doesn’t actually ease her fear at all.)
she isn’t too far off; once she peeks her head out through the small hole she creates after opening the sliding door only slightly, she sees an obviously humane outline of a figure crouching and an oh-so familiar silhouette right in front of it: someone is petting her goddamn dog at 3am in the morning and jisoo just can’t decipher the sight unfolding right in front of her eyes.
