one of these days, his inability to say no is going to get him into trouble. he hasn’t even been debuted long and now he’s going to a ‘party’ ( he assumes for a birthday or christmas; eunbi wouldn’t take him to anything else, right? ) just because the girl had asked him nicely. he’s only promised to stay a short while; after all, he has to go home and sleep because unlike most of the attendees, he can’t just sleep in past sunrise to recoup. with such a big event coming up ( he wouldn’t have thought it’d be that big a deal given how they’ve just done almost month solid of performances, but focusing all their attention on preparing for it, seungcheol thinks this must be on another level entirely ), he can’t afford to miss any well-needed sleep. he certainly can’t risk being late either, though he likes to think at least one of the convex boys would drag him in half asleep.
regardless, he couldn’t turn back now, not when they’re already on their way, almost at the door even. he hasn’t been to any kind of party for a couple years at least, never the type to enjoy or feel particularly comfortable in busy social settings, but perhaps this would help him. maybe out of this, he’d get a little more confidence — a little more charisma for the stage and beyond.
