Psycho. || Melissa and Joon
At first she thought maybe it was because he was cute. Joon had this smile. Even when he was flashing it directly to one girl, the whole room swooned for him. Men even were charmed. Not in the same way as the women, maybe some in the same way as women, but they wanted to be on his side. They wanted to see his smile too. It sure was a beautiful smile. Maybe that was it. Maybe that was what made her question him and his intentions from the start. She followed him.
Joon was like an insect, a mosquito really. He ventured through the room sucking sweet conversation with different bodies before moving to the next and the one after. Networking was a normal thing, but his still seemed odd. Melissa followed his movements in the next room of the house sipping lightly from her cup as she watched him infect the inhabitants of this room. Still, it seemed odd, but her attention drifted. The music was familiar to her and that was an uncommon duty to her foreign status. Melissa was even beginning to let go of her thoughts about him as her hips swayed naturally to the music. Then she saw it when he was looking at her.
His face had a drop. That beautiful smile he showed the world moments before was void under his new face. It was disinterested and cold. It is what one images for the eyes of Hannibal Lector or the Devil himself. As beautiful and lovely as the man was, he had become dark and soulless to the same extent. It was just for a moment, but she saw it. Melissa saw it and was scared. He was a serpent eating and she didn't want to fall prey. She headed to the the door away from him and the crowd.
