Jongin wasn't quite sure how long he had managed to sleep, but when he woke up, someone was occupying the bed beside him. He found this out through his nearly closed eyes as he contemplated whether or not he should go back to sleep. The pain medication he was on was pretty strong, but that's what he got for fracturing his ankle... again. He let out a low groan, more out of frustration than pain. 

Then, he remembered that he had been watching reruns of his favorite drama all day-- maybe some tv would make him feel better? He opened his eyes and directed towards the television screen, but unfortunately, it was tuned to some sitcom. Pouting, he looked over at the other boy who lay on a hospital bed. "Hey, did you change the channel?"

She tapped her pen against the table as she stared at the blank paper. Her fettuccine was starting to get cold; it's been sitting idly on top of the table. Finally putting it down, she looked across the table and pouted. "Oppa, can you give me a word? Any word." During times like these, a random word and a word vomit would help a lot. Fork in hand, she poked her lump of pasta and slowly mixed it together.

"I was thinking of making a rap about graduation and becoming legal." She lifted a forkful of pasta. "It seems pretty interesting. Should I go with it?" Chewing on the creamy substance, she thought about her rap. If anything, her lyrics have been missing those smart-aleck phrases and puns; she needs most of that. Hands twirling her fork, she again inserted a mouthful and processed.

( jongin & ethan ); double trouble

Jongin runs his hand through his already messy hair and sighs, lifting one of his feet in front of him to flex and unflex it. He rarely left the studio early as he had limited time to practice already, but he supposed that he could make an exception today if it was to hang out with his friends-- who were yet to show up. Granted it had only been five minutes and he was really not one to be complaining, usually being the late one, but he was feeling restless for some reason. He grins widely when he looks up to see Ethan approaching, and quickly stands up to greet him. "Hey! Did you just get off work?" he calls out, patting the other on the shoulder. Suddenly, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion; honestly, he rarely saw Ethan without their other friend, Seulgi, present. "Where's Seulgi?"

Danger... -sings along to the song under his breath as he looks up at the buildings in search for the address; it was the last delivery of the day and he wanted to finish up fast so he could go to the studio and perfect the dance to this song. he purses his lips and turns his head to look down the street, but what he sees nearly stops his heart- No way... -rubs his eyes in disbelief, his mouth hung open in amazement; Lee Taemin, his ultimate idol, stood just down the street from him. Jongin had to talk to him! He looks down to the pizza in his hands, then takes out his phone to dial his boss- Hyung? Yeah, I got lost again. Sorry! You can take it out of my paycheck. Okay, bye. -pizza still in hand, he inhales deeply and makes his way towards the singer-

Yuna just fiddles with the pendant that's hanging on her neck as she watches the people around the cafe. It's a normal week night, and despite it not yet being the weekend, a sizeable crowd is milling around, mostly because of the weekly open mic events that happened to fall on Thursdays. She's already signed up--eighth on the list, so quite far along the night still, and she's just hanging around, drinking her tea while waiting for the programme to start.

She's humming along to the tune playing in the background--not live yet, but blasting through the speakers, when she happens to glance towards the direction of the entrance. The lighting in the cafe is a bit dim, perfect for a seemingly warm ambience, but it doesn't really help Yuna out when she tries to identify the familiar figure that steps into the cafe. "Shit." The profanity easily slips her tongue, and her brows crease with concern. She can feel her heart beating loudly, nervously--she still couldn't really make out his face, but she'd know that build and body from a mile away.

She keeps staring; it would make sense for him to be here as well. They had similar dreams, and similar means of approaching those said dreams. It's why they were both in Hongdae after all, and it was a large part of why they got along so well to begin with. When his head turns, she quickly turns anyway--she's not sure how ready she is to face him. She had given him time to himself to think things over, and one, curt birthday greeting aside, they haven't really spoken since she had let him know that he was going to be a young father.
