ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 16, 2012) A P-8A Poseidon assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 30 flies over the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The P-8A's primary function is anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare and will be the replacement for the P-3C Orion.
