@kgjoohyun
it’s heavy work, nobody can say it isn’t. wei drags himself up the last few steps of the stairs and stumbles back into the apartment. closing the door behind him, he leaves his shoes in the hallway, trudging on to the living room on his bare feet. the second he comes within reach of the couch, he flops himself down, head landing promptly atop joohyun’s leg.
“meimei~” he complains, closing his eyes and putting a hand to his forehead rather dramatically. “i’m gonna lay down here and die for like half an hour, okay?” the heavy sigh that follows his words is filled with the desparation of a man who has just walked down and up two levels of stairs just to take out the trash, and his arm soon falls limply next to his side.
“ah, why do they not come and get the trash up here at our apartment doors? it would save us so much trouble!” the korean and mandarin flows out from his mouth interwoven into multilingual sentences that he’s more than happy to know joohyun understands.
ever since their trainee days together, joohyun has been the biggest support pillar of his life in south korea. helping him with both the language, the culture, the finances and even the housing (once she got a place from her parents just like that), joohyun is pretty much a guardian angel to wei, while at the same time he tries to be the exact same thing for her.
although he can’t do very much in return, at least he can do things like take out the trash - no matter how heavy a job that really is.
