Pretty, Hot And... Twenty?

So it recently dawned on me that I'm going to be twenty in about 55 days. Yeah I know, 55 days isn't like 1 week but it still scares the hell out of me.. sort of. I'm finally going to not be a teenager. I'm going to be a year older to legally be able to own a handgun, drink alcohol, pay cheaper covers at clubs and no longer be able to get arrested for an M.I.P. It just seems so weird to me. It's weird that twenty years ago my brother and I were just chillin in our birth mother's tummy getting ready to enter the world and be adopted. It's weird to me that when my grandmother was 20 she was married and was about to be a mom and when my aunt was 20 she was getting a divorce. I'm going to be 20, entering my sophomore year of college and living life to the fullest.

Being 20 is such a great time in a person's life, so why on Earth am I so scared? Why does it freak me out so much? I have no reason to be this nervous or worried. It's not like I'm going to die or fall off the face of the Earth. It's just like a reality check that I'm getting older and that I'm growing up and doing things on my own more often than I have before.
