if there was a thing kangwoo definitely wasn’t interested in, it’d be working out. making muscles, sweating and then your clothes sticking onto your skin uncomfortably, panting and gasping for oxygen, and then severe muscle ache afterwards? no thank you so very much. didn’t mean he liked watching others tire themselves out while he was doing things he liked. actually, it’s always fun to watch people wear themselves out, while he was doing literally nothing but watch them. or playing games, that also worked. (it had to be admitted he didn’t exactly realize that he might irritate others with it.)
anyway, the internet connection was exceptional, and he’d caught up with some dramas he liked. settling in a relaxing position that didn’t cut off his blood circulation to any kind of limb too much, he exited the safari app and went onto some fun game playing a few rounds, losing most of them. kangwoo sighed, laid the phone down in front of him and let his eyes slide through the gym, not exactly paying attention to anyone. leaning his head onto his upper arm, his entire body sprawling over the floor, staying safely out of the way of the exercising ladies and men. the floor was rather cool, which was nice but kind of hard, making it quite hard to find an comfortable position in collaboration with the floor.
truth be told, he didn’t consider training to be bad whether or not it was combat or other, possible violent trainings. he clearly knew the problem lied with him. still didn’t mean he couldn’t enjoy watching people getting tired instead of him.
he settled on watching a girl punching and kicking a bag. kangwoo was definitely a beginner in combat and martial arts and only knew the basics, but at least he could see who was a lot better than him in fighting. well, preferably them than him. rolling onto his hip, planting his face into his hand, he watched and followed the girl with interest. kangwoo definitely knew this girl, hayeon. they’d encountered each other multiple times, but never exactly got that close. his own impression told him that she was quite different from kangwoo. well, kangwoo did tend to be a moping negative asshole at times. well, not that he was a great judge of personality, he was clearly aware of that.
a flash, and two dark brown eyes interlocked with his own. unfazed by the sudden contact kangwoo simply raised his arms, and mouthed a simple, ‘yo”. nothing like a grin crept up onto his face, as it was serious as ever. his phone suddenly buzzed, a message from simcity popping up onto the screen. kangwoo sat up, pretty much ignoring hayeon, picked up his phone and opened the game app, to continue building his already rather large and thriving city. it wasn’t like he had much to do.
