P.P. Arnold - Would You Believe (1968)

P.P. Arnold started off as an Ikette before moving to the UK where she signed to Andrew Loog Oldham's Immediate records. She recorded some great tracks like The First Cut is the Deepest and my personal fave (If You Think You're) Groovy (with the Small Faces). This cool baroque soul tune is from her first LP.

Have you ever read PP Arnold’s book? she was one of the Ikettes who said she once made out w/ Brian at his home after breaking up with Mick

I haven't read it yet, but the information I saw was that Brian didn't like Mick's behavior towards PP , he was there to comfort her and the friendship she needed 💕

I'll look into her book thank you!

P.P. Arnold took my literal FAVORITE Beach Boys song and DID IT BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED ANYONE WOULD HAVE (including The Beach Boys), EVER!? How did I forget this exists!?! It's fucking amazing!!
