Tired. The word echoed within Knowledge’s mind constantly. The expo had pulled cards everywhere around, and there are many cards that do not behave well around technology. He sighed, if he was not a living walking database of the world, he would have been probably the same.
A crash came to his right, an exhibit had fallen. The security was looking around for the culprit who almost seemed to have vanished almost instantly. Almost as if she recalled herself back. Knowledge jaw clenched, as he closed his eyes, telling himself to count to ten.
Unlike most of the cards here, there was one particular card that he had to pay attention to. Not because they had been close in the past, but because in the human world, he was her registered guardian.
Standing, he rounded a corner and his hand immediately found her arm, tugging her out of her hiding place. “You’re staying with me. You far too interested in everything for them to be safe. Fight me, and I’d spill all your embarrassing things out to the world faster than you can say ‘Calvary’s here.’”
