People Under The Stairs at XOYO - 25/9/12
So finally we got to see Thes One and Double K (Chris and Mike) after a 6 year period of no UK shows. The night couldn't of gone any better. To start with their BMW parked up right where we were drinking outside XOYO, the two jetlagged DJ/producer/MC's piled out and after a few quick words they were quickly into the club to set up; this was enough to make the night, totally shocked that we even got to talk to them. 15 minutes later we were at the bar getting some beers, I look over and Mike and Chris are there getting a drink just down the bar. Shittttt, I walk over with Rob and say hi, 10 minutes later we're hitting fists and raising drinks to a good show, wtf. We had the most genuine chat with them, I couldn't actually believe how interested they were in talking to us, we were completely shocked, crazeh. After this came a mad mad show, they rocked the roof off, everyone was going mental. I've heard that they are very good live, this was another level. Double K throwing some massive beats, Thes throwing beers everywhere, both of them high fiving the crowd and generally going crazy. Just as I was thinking that the night couldn't get any better, Rob turns around and he's holding Thes Ones fucking cap! He somehow managed to catch it when Thes threw it into the crowd. He then goes off at the end, has another chat with the guys when they were clearing up on the stage and gets it signed by both off them - to me....then walks up the stairs and gives it to me.
These guys are my favourite group of all time, my favourite music to listen to. After first getting into them in 2005 and not seeing them live in till 5 days ago, this night couldn't of been any better. I love you Rob. I Love you People Under the Stairs. Party on!

P.U.T.S. are really one of my favourite hip-hop groups. Made up of Thes One and Double K, the L.A. residents kick back and spit about California life. Any real hip-hop head should be bumping P.U.T.S. regularly.
