Alternatives to Microsoft Word (and Microsoft Office in General)

Here is a list of Programs that work offline and are free and/or freemium.

FocusWriter

LibreOffice

MobiOffice (Freemium)

Notepad (comes pre-installed on Windows)

ONLYOFFICE (Freemium)

WordPad (comes pre-installed on Windows)

WPS Office (Freemium)

yEdit

Now the reason I'm doing programs as opposed to programs such as Ellipsus, Google Docs, and Word Online is because they require internet access in order to use them. Now, granted, there are ways around using Google Docs offline, but it's rather tedious IMHO. But if you guys want to use them then, by all means, go right ahead. I'm just not particularly fond of them, myself.
