Because I'm lacking the evidence, it seems I can't run through and ransack your residence SWAT-style with a mile long team of bastards, breakers, bloodthirsty snatchers and shakers; put a finger on your lip asking not to wake the neighbors. Don't have a warrant but if I wait and pick a night when it's pouring, slipping silent and slick into the second story, things might get a little gory. That's just a warning. I've got a list of every one of your deeds. Like St. Punisher Nick, I'm here to force the bleed. You will regret what you've done but not as much as you'll regret not owning a gun. You're just a tally mark, unmoving heart. Crossed off, left in the dark.
Because I'm lacking my memories...what was I saying? Because I'm lacking my...what the fuck was I just saying?
Did you deserve it? I could have sworn I had you figured for a very bad, very filthy person. I can't remember now. It's all a blur and when I focus on recalling it, my head just hurts. I played the vigilante but I wasn't well equipped. The least appropriate doctor is the one who's sick. The executioner is playing judge and jury, flipping coins and calling heads or tails. You should be scared, you should be worried; so unbalanced is his scale. I turned a moving heart into a tally mark, Oh god, how did this start?

p.wrecks (Interview)
1. First off thanks for making some of the most interesting and thought invoking music I have heard in forever. Not sure how you want to answer that but thanks!
- thank you for the kind words. It is always nice to have some sort of confirmation that the work is being heard
2. Your lyrics are very deep and from my own personal listening experience it seems as if multiple meanings could be found in your lines, does off kilter timing and less than obvious word choices/word play come naturally to you or is it something you've had to work on over time?
- actually, I had to work harder at making the train of thought less convoluted, It's pretty easy to just ramble about philosophical nothingness, It's much more difficult to take everything you've got to say and explain it in detail and still make it understandable to the listener.
3. You are clearly into music similar to the type you create but to discover Grindcore Karaoke you must have at least been aware of Grind and I'm sure I saw you had liked Mr Bungle on Facebook, just how extensive is your taste in music? Also have you taken part in any other musical projects before? I'm not sure why but for some reason I have it in my head that you are a punk guitarist turned rapper or something, Am I close?
- I'm into a wide range of musical flavors, Before p.wrecks I was involved in a grind project and did vocals for a few hardcore bands, none worth naming.
4. In "Faux Forest" you talk about rap being an outlet for the disdain you had for the things going on around you, what was your reason for becoming p.wrecks? Was it an unignorable compulsion?
-that was definitely a large part of it, the daily struggle of not ever doing anything right, Over thinking every possible situation, seeing how fucked up everything is, being able to do nothing to change it and wondering why no one else cares, as much as I did.
5. Even though the listener will usually attach a personal meaning of their own to a song what are some of the messages and views you try to get across in your music and what inspires you to put pen to paper and write?
- self expression is the best medicine for depressed pessimists.everyone has there own skewed view of the earth. I feel art is our way of communicating that to other humans in a way they can relate to.Feelings, fresh beats, conversations, dreams, growth, different environment, all inspire. . Stepping out the door.
6. Although all of your works could be considered experimental or at least alternative can we expect any more of the lengthy, mix tape esque releases like "Gegner" again?
- Possibly, Who knows?
7. Are you a lone artist in your area who works with people via e-mail or does your local community have a decent hip hop/music scene that needs exposing?
- Both, I've worked with producers and emcees from a whole gambit of locales, that being said Spokane's Hip-hop scene has a few unexposed brainstormers who do it right in my opinion. also, all the production on Luggage Checked to Nowhere is from dudes that are or have been a Spokane resident at some point. I wanted that album to feel like the city.
8. Not including W/R how has your latest release "Luggage Checked to Nowhere" been received by both critics and fans of your work?
- It got a great review by the comrade at bludclot, and all my friends dug it, that's all that really matters. didn't get any hate mail or anything, yet.
9. As a result of discovering you alone I found a world of music I hadn't and probably would not have otherwise come into contact with such as the likes of Guttahface and Strange Gibberish Records. For the benefit of anyone who reads this who would you suggestthey check out? , uhmbrelluh, Shark Dentures, Tahkid, Smear, Summon,Badpenmanship, Lilac Linguistics, T3XTUR3, Cane Corso records, all the johnny23 cats, Twin Perils, gin-i-grindith, Project Mooncircle, speak onion, a beautiful lotus, PORTAL, kloaks, losing skin, Sales Wagon, noventa, H00VES.ANB's side projects.just to name a few, tons of dope shit out there.
10. To round this off do you have any final words for both your fans and fans of W/R alike?
-Keep exploring, Don't let image be the only thing that matters, construct your own idea of reality, do away with false idols.if you are into what I create, there is a load more in the works.
