GUYS LOOK I'M A GENIUS
going to be sexist but saying exactly what i see:
a woman watching hotd: i don't like your side, discussions with different position, convinced pro black/pro green
a man watching hotd: death wishes for children, insulting women for their gender, jokes about rape, humiliation for appearance (especially female characters)
don't want to blame all men, but seeing world misogyny is beyond human strength
I do not get why people call Aemond ‘pressed’ or ‘bitter’ when he calls the strong boys ‘strong’ in the dinner scene. His insult is a reaction to Luke intentionally laughing at the pig in front of Aemond - a call back to the time Aegon and the strong boys bullied and humiliated him. Luke was giggling, acting as if all was well, as if he didn’t take Aemond’s eye out. His lack of remorse probably triggered Aemond - he had to sit/dine with the person who took his eye, only to find that person laughing at him. Yall keep forgetting that Luke wasn’t punished or held accountable for maiming Aemond, and instead it was Aemond who was ‘sharply questioned’ and even threatened by Viserys, his freaking father. He could’ve resented Luke for that and even hated him. He is rightfully triggered after seeing the person who cut his eye in a 4v1 fight, laughing and mocking him. This boy literally stared into Aemond’s eye and preceded to laugh/scoff. Homeboy never showed remorse, which is no surprise considering he was never properly held accountable. That’s what happens when people aren’t held accountable. They turn smug, mock the people they’ve hurt and even feel as if they have done nothing wrong.
It was Aemond who had to live with one eye, not Luke. It was Aemond who had to watch his mother beg his father to get justice for their son. It was Aemond who worked twice as hard in his training. What has Luke been doing? Resting comfortably in his mother’s lap? Blissfully ignoring what he did? So excuse me because Aemond has every right to be pissed, triggered, because he has lived with the trauma of everything and because the preparators never apologized or even showed remorse for maiming him.
“Team Black” or “Team Green?” bitch I’m on “team fuck everyone, the dragons deserved better then all these fools” and no amount of pretty boys and girls will sway me on this. Humanity can choke so the dragons can rule.

Here's a quick moodboard...
why do people act like Rhaenyra is a saint?
like did y’all not see her literally lying to the king at Driftmark saying that HER sons were the ones who were attacked when they were the ones who attacked Aemond first? Like that is a blatant lie, and let’s not even talk about the “sharply questioned” part. Why people defend her is beyond me. Anyways, if I were Alicent and my son literally lost his eye l, I would do worse than what she did.
don’t bother responding to this if you’re going to defend Rhaenyra, nothing you say will make her blatantly lying about the attack and asking to torture her brother will EVER make it ok. I justifiably hate her and you can’t change that 👍
The amount of pro Viserys posts I see still boggles the mind. "Oh he might be an absentee father for the green kids but at least he loves Rhaenyra and supports her claim!!!"
So how exactly did he prepare her for that role? Why didn't he put the effort to at least advise Rhaenyra to connect with her half-siblings, knowing full well there will be supporters for Aegon?
He only cares for Rhaenyra because he sees a reflection of Aemma, his wife, in Rhaenyra. In this world, the wife is dutiful to the King and will obviously support him whether he is right or wrong, generally speaking.
He didn't give a shit about her until he realized his brother was absolutely brutal with any position of power given to him, and therefore a threat to himself. So, he gives that position to Rhaenyra instead, because she is too young to challenge his ego.
I could say a lot more but naming Rhaenyra as heir has a lot more to do with good king Viserys defending his ego than actual love for his daughter.
