Any tips for setting up peerblock, primarily when it comes to steam and gaming. I play csgo competitively and would be choked if this handicapped being able to play. Ps I find adblock pro is worth the upgrade as the standard adblock seems to slip up here and there. Ty for all the information on preserving our personal privacy, I hope many other people found it as helpful as me :)
Thanks, privacy is important! I'll check out Adblock Pro too.
As for PeerBlock, all of valve's IP addresses are blocked by default if you've set Peerblock up to block Anti-P2P organisations, but it's fairly easy to disable:
1- under the protection tab, click List Manager
2- click view next to the p2p list
3-type valve into the search bar
4- right click the valve entries, click allow permanently
:)
