Modern AU: The White Empress
The White Empress started out as an all girl gang combined from several high schools in Tokyo. Female gang leaders are called Sukeban/Bancho and they are not allowed to have relationships with men during the course of their reign. The rank is inherited through generational succession and Candice is the first generation leader, together with Bambi, Giselle and Meninas. At age 24, Candice has since retired by now and basically watches from the background, though her current generation (Nanadaime) successor still defers to her out of respect and the rules of gang hierarchy.
The White Empress is spread across all of Tokyo, but is split into four affiliated factions as the city of Tokyo is huge. Each de facto leader of the faction is known as Queen. Queen of Clubs. Queen of Spades. Queen of Hearts. Queen of Diamonds. The calling cards of each Queen is the respective equivalent of their playing cards. As a result of the influence of all the First Generation Queens, they have helped shaped the core values and principles that define the White Empress, which is now basically a vigilante group that is vicious in protecting their all female members and gang interests, as well as the other girls on the streets.
