some fun WatchDroid headcanons

— P3-NG is hesitant to let Alexei examine him when the man first requests, it doesn’t sound pleasant to let anyone near the Android’s innards again. Not after what happened the last time someone demanded access. It takes a lot of trust building and consistent interactions before the two find themselves spending more intimate time together.

— When Alexei gets excited, he gets reckless. P3-NG is hyper-sensitive to anything being touched inside him, a request he made when being repaired and reconstructed. The Android will patiently remind Alexei when anything the other killer does harms him, or otherwise. He’ll quickly get stern if his concerns aren’t heard the first time.

— After some time, it becomes habitual for Alexei to examine P3-NG after game rounds. Instead of going to his own shabby old cabin, the Android will find himself heading straight back to Alexei’s. He’s become accustomed to navigating around seemingly permanent piles of mess and clothing. P3-NG has learned not to inquire, not after finding some enhanced bug-like suit in the corner of the cabin. He left it at that.

— After getting over the initial trauma, P3-NG starts looking forward to being checked up by Alexei. While the Android still dislikes being set on a table like some specimen, they each have found something comforting about it. Alexei gets to learn and explore, stimulating that calculated mind of his. And, for brief moments, P3-NG pretends he’s back at home. He pretends that he’s being worked on to fix a minor bug, so that he can protect efficiently. He pretends, for some moments, that when he opens his eye— eyes— he’ll be back in that sterile lab room.

— When they’re sharing comfortable space together, they have fun conversations. Sometimes they devolve into sassiness from the Android. Repetitive, “Why?”s from Alexei being answered with “Do you wonder the same about humans?” “Have you looked it up?” “Must I answer?” that drip with more sarcasm everytime. Alexei, not as amused, huffing in reply or snarking back, “Why should I know?” “Aren’t you a walking search-engine?”
