translated the species names associated with the P4 cast from their part in the P30th x Sea Paradise collab! and extras under cut lol i think it's adorable

Bancho's fish has "(Izanagi)" in the JP promo because apparently the ヒメオコゼ [Himeokoze] was called イザナギ [Izanagi] in the 小学館『日本国語大辞典』 [Shogakukan's "Comprehensive Dictionary of the Japanese Language"]. While Nanako's shrimp can be called the "banded coral shrimp," it's JP name is cute because "otohime" means "younger princess​" :]

and while Dojima and Adachi are both assigned moray eels, it's hilarious to me that the giant moray are said to be poisonous and shouldn't be consumed, while the one of the first few things when looking up the leopard moray (トラウツボ specifically) is how it's prepared for eating 💔
