will i get beaten bloody if i say i don't like yosuke's new sprite. like especially his hair?

i mean it's mostly a personal preference so it's not like any sort of flaw but the way his hair flares out and curls down... i don't like it

it makes his hair look saggy and less intentional

his old sprite doesn't have that. his hair is more spikey from the point is flares out to his neck

i think this pretty much sums it up

there's a lot less spike. and some of his initial layering in his hair is smoothed down

i adore yu's characterization in p4a so much that it affects my enjoyment of p4ga

i physically cannot watch p4ga because i genuinely just don't like yu's characterization.

i enjoyed the manga too and then sequels just sort of worked with yu and souji making him so enjoyable in p4au.

i just.. i don't see the appeal of p4ga yu. he actually feels so one dimensional in it. so much that i couldn't physically make it past episode 3...

and i absolutely fucking love yu he's my favorite p4 character. and p4a and the p4 manga literally set a standard of him for me

p4a does an almost perfect job of handling all the social links (the summer episodes with nanako are my favorite) but also just showing how much yu and the it themselves adore one another. p4ga just doesn't give me that vibe. his more neurodivergent traits also felt more ironed out... like he's still weird but the way they leaned on in p4a is just gone

i can't say this in a way that screams "omg i fucking hate marie" I don't hate her. p4g and p4ga just does her dirty and i always thought she needed a more eloquent inclusion to the IT that actually includes her to the investigation. the anime over includes her which seems to sacrifice screen time for the other new things in golden whereas p4g just isolated her in a weird bubble that was specific to her social link when i genuinely think she needed way more time with the IT to bond with them. her sl just never felt like enough and p4ga was too much. it's because of this that shes so weirdly excluded from so much stuff in fan content and official content??? marie isn't a new character either she's been around since 2011...

I've been playinf p4 again (i wasn't before i talk out my ass like a true persona fan)

i gotta say, im at the part where teddie gains his human form and yukiko along with chie buy clothes for him. and wow. i don't remember it being that bad.. since well using someones money without their permission is like a crime.. ik yosuke deserves a lot of the shit he gets but thats where i draw the line... it's not funny and just irritating especially when he stated that he was saving up money and includes the fact that the girls KNEW this fact

whatever the case, this doesn't make the girls silly or anything. like besties if you can't afford it buy something cheaper i thought this was common sense...

ON A POSITIVE NOTE

I FOUND THIS AND IM SO MAD THIS DIDN'T END UP AS TEDDIE'S DEFAULT FIT LIKE OMFG IT'S SO CUTE

the overalls really lean into his boyish personality and i think it suits him rlly well! even the second one where he's not wearing his overalls properly! it looks like his outfit was influenced by yosuke and thats just so cute. i love the hanabros. i love the influence yosuke ends up having on teddie. p4 has such nice found family i live for it (it's present with yu and nanako too!)

ooc: I just can't get over that Silabus's voice actor is now the voice for Teddie. OTL He really does an amazing job with it, its hard to tell a difference. Still...now I imagine Silabus popping out of Teddie's bear suit....(now if only we could do something about Chie's voice actor *facepalms*)
