We've actually done this one before. You can find the post here. It is still a rough draft since it is old and before we started the project, as we said in the post. As with all of our previews, these are drafts and are subject to be tweaked in the final version, but the translation should be accurate.
To answer your question, they are not direct thoughts from Kim Dokja (meaning, they are not italicized), but they are his usual narration. You can see where Han Sooyoung is narrating, and where Kim Dokja's normal narration is.
