I can rest easy knowing that no matter how much I love Akechi, I will never love him as much as Joker does. Easy to beat the deranged fan allegations when yearnatron 3000 is your competition

The claim that "shuake wouldn't work out because Akechi tried to kill Joker" is funny to me because Joker canonically prefers "just everyday Akechi" over detective prince Akechi.
We have proof of Joker's preference in the third semester. Okumura was revived as a loving father in accordance to Haru's wishes and Akechi was revived as his maniacal, violent self in accordance to Joker's wishes.
Joker could have revived Akechi to be any iteration of kind and friendly but he didn't. Instead, he wanted Akechi to have the same personality as his black mask self, the same personality of the man who attempted to kill him. Joker canonically prefers Akechi's true personality, whether the player agrees with him or not.
Shuake fell first/fell harder is funny because "fell first" is pretty hard to pinpoint and it kinda depends on your personal headcanon but "fell harder" is the easiest layup ever. You'd think Goro sacrifices-himself-to-save-his-rival Akechi would be the clear winner. But here comes third semester Akira dooms-the-world-to-be-with-his-attempted-murderer Kurusu with the steel chair. Sorry but you don't get any "fell harder" than that.
Akechi being a popular-but-controversial character sucks as a fan that has to deal with discourse, but he as a person would definitely enjoy it. He loves chaos. If he found out thousands of people have been arguing about him constantly for 10 years, he'd get a power trip. You would hear him laughing for hours
There's a laundromat right outside Leblanc which answers the question "how does Joker do his laundry?" except there was not a single ironing board in sight, which means Joker was probably wearing wrinkly ass clothes (littered with cat hair) for his entire stay in Tokyo. Meanwhile Akechi probably owns both an ironing board AND a steamer. You won't find a single crease on the detective prince's uniforms. Roommates shuake with a problematic laundry gap relationship
My favorite persona 5 mandela effects:
people describing Akechi's blazer as tan
Akechi's summer uniform having gloves
Neither of those are true but they trip people up sometimes (including me, guilty). Arguably Akechi's blazer is light brown under certain lighting, but I reject the Akechi bare hands agenda. I don't care if it's canon, that boy always wears gloves no matter the weather to me. He looks naked without them.
Proof of Justice OVA, colloquially known as the 20 minute dead wife flashback, is an episode so insane i can't believe it's canon. Why does Akechi's gun have more lore and screentime than half your confidants. It's like the p5 equivalent of the Naruto swing
One of my favorite domestic shuake headcanons is that they're very loving, sweet, and attentive to each other AND occasionally Akechi puts Joker in a saw trap for enrichment while Joker sets up elaborate high-stakes mystery games to scratch the itch in Akechi's brain. They both enjoy every second of it while the rest of the Thieves suffer in their proximity
