Madeline Sanford, born into a family of extra-ordinary wealth. Her parents were very well known business people and had ran their own successful furniture company for longer than Madeline had been alive. She was their only child and was expected to take over the business one day and carry on the Sanford legacy. Just as the girl was expected to take on her family’s legacy, she was also supposed to carry on the tradition of marrying into equally as high profile families to expand reach and increase wealth. Madeline had been set to marry the son of the Campbell family since before she even began high school. It was possibly one of the worst match up to ever occur. Not only was their son a major douche, Maddie was also a major lesbian. So really there was no hope. How did Madeline realise her attraction for the same sex? Two words - Rosalie Campbell. The sister of the man she was supposed to marry. She had liked that girl since she knew what feelings were. Yeah, it made things a little complicated.
Right now, the Sanford and Campbell families were discussing wedding arrangements while Maddie stared off bored into the distance. There hadn’t even been a proposal, her ‘fiance’ just handed her a ring and told her to ‘put the damn thing on’ before they took sickeningly sweet picture to plaster online. Madeline was in hell right now. Every so often, her eyes would glance over at Rose and she would give her a flirtatious smirk. The other family members were far too invested in planning so they didn’t even notice the look and interaction. Now and then her mother would ask her what she thought about a certain piece of decor and her replies would always be, “Uh huh, sure.” She didn’t even know what she was agreeing to but Madeline gave absolutely no shits about the wedding. The brunette desperately wished it wasn’t going to happen.
