↳“FOUR LETTER WORD → MASE&CAMILA
"I believe in nothing, not the end and not the start...I believe in nothing, not the earth and not the stars" Mason hummed along to his favorite song by Thirty Seconds To Mars as he padded his bare feet along the wooden floor of his home, walking aimlessly as he had nothing better to do on a Friday afternoon since his Xbox had shown the ring of death. That was all until Camila had text him, the girl he'd recently been dumped by because her parents weren't approving of him. He wasn't particularly mad at her, but he was hurt by the fact that she could let him go that easy...well, it seemed easy to him anyway. This was going to be one of the first times spent together since the break up, and a first of being alone, but Mason wasn't going to turn it down...he still had feelings for her after all. Sending a quick text in return to let her know he'd head round, it was official, he was going to have to go and see her on his own, put his feelings for her aside and get used to it being back to the way it was before they got together in the first place -- 'just friends'.
Letting out a small sigh, the boy began clambering back up the stairs that led to his room with his heavy feet. "Thud, thud, thud" could be heard as he stepped up them with his usual lack of grace, if Mason was going up or down the stairs, the whole household would know about it. Mason jogged slowly into his bedroom, checking himself in the mirror to see if there was anything that looked insanely wrong. He didn't want to change his current clothes (Baggy jeans, a fitted tee and some sneakers) because it could look like he was making too much of an effort, and Mase knew that might make her think that he wasn't capable of hanging out as friends. Nodding in approval, the boy continued to pick up a few games in case she didn't have any that suited his fancy and grabbed his jacket -- it wasn't cold in Los Angeles, but Mase would never leave without it. Once he was ready, the boy grabbed his keys, wallet and phone, stuffing them into his pockets carefully and descending the staircase. The boy was quickly out of the doorway without turning round, he was excited to get there.
Camilas house wasn't a long journey from where Mase lived, so he walked there pretty quickly, his eyes fixed down at his shoes and not looking up to take in the beautiful scenery that surrounded him -- he didn't really care anymore, having spent his entire life here, he'd seen it enough times that he could probably draw it blindfolded. On arrival at her house, Mason took a large gulp and approached the all-to-familiar door, applying pressure on the handle and walking straight inside as instructed. "Cam?" The boy shouted as he entered into the hallway, looking round at all the things he used to see on a regular basis, their family home hadn't seemed to have changed one single bit from when he was last there. Mason continued to let his eyes drift around the inside of the building as he waited for Camila to respond to him, or appear whilst his teeth were sunk into his bottom lip to hid his nerves.
