Can't Always Fix Broken || Cillian and Charlotte
A few bar brawls weren't uncommon, especially not in a place like this, not back here. They hardly lasted long though, and Charlotte was accustomed of being knocked into, swaying with the motion to keep a tray or a pitcher upright. Men, as it turned out, were still as possessive as they ever were, and touchy when it came to their gambling.
Good to know some things will never change.
But this particular brawl had lasted longer than usual, and there was both cheers and jeers coming from the back corner and it was starting to draw a lot of unwanted attention. The patrons from the front would catch on soon enough, and she couldn't have that. The Rabbit Hole already had enough issues to sort out.
She couldn't really see over the mass of heads, but she could hear the blows, the tables being turned over and glass breaking. Rylan would be sure to just loooove that. This was turning big. Would need more than a pail of water to fix. A muttered excuse to the lad she was currently serving, and she pushed her way through the crowd. Maybe a little womanly charm would sway them.
That was the plan anyway, at least until she caught sight of those eyes. Those burning familiar eyes and an all too remembered pattern of facial hair. "No--Killian?" Out of leather for once, but it still seemed he enjoyed a fight. Daft pirate.
Pushing into the circle she stood hands on hips and gave a shout. "Oi! Come now, boys, no need to fight..." And it worked, for a second, allowing her to approach her lost love and settle a hand on his arm. "How about we just walk away." The shove that came from behind her was fast and hard, sending her bouncing off the wall and when she came out she was blazing. Let it never be said that was ever afraid to hold her own. She'd killed men for less in a different life.
Rearing back, she kneed the man in the groin, bending to whisper in his ear. "I suggest you get -the fuck- out. Before the owner finds out you've gotten fresh with one of his own. Hm?" A dark smile before straightening and taking her captain of old by the hand, leading him towards the back door. "Come now, lets get you cleaned up."
